"The barbecue at this restaurant was pretty good overall. It was better than any chain BBQ restaurants, but not quite as exceptional as those made by true barbecue artisans. The food was a bit too salty and the sauce could have used more flavor. The beans were good, the slaw was okay, and the cornbread was dense and moist. I only tried the pork ribs, so I cannot comment on the brisket. The smoke flavor in the ribs was not very deep, but the meat was moist and easy to eat. There were some silver bits left on the ribs, which was unappetizing. I paid $20 for a 1/4 rack with fixings, which I suppose is average. The dirty fries were pretty good. The decor with taxidermy was a bit over the top and I even had a funny encounter with a gazelle while trying to get to the bathroom. Overall, I would recommend trying this place at least once if you are in the area, but it may not be worth traveling to specifically."
