"The barbecue at this restaurant was pretty good overall. It was better than any chain BBQ restaurants, but not quite as exceptional as those made by true barbecue artisans. The food was a bit too salty and the sauce could have used more flavor. The beans were good, the slaw was okay, and the cornbread was dense and moist. I only tried the pork ribs, so I cannot comment on the brisket. The smoke flavor in the ribs was not very deep, but the meat was moist and easy to eat. There were some silver bits left on the ribs, which was unappetizing. I paid $20 for a 1/4 rack with fixings, which I suppose is average. The dirty fries were pretty good. I discovered this restaurant on Valentine's Day and the best part was that there was no waiting. The sides were delicious, although they could have been hotter. The meats were just okay; I recommend removing the vein from the pork ribs. I plan to try this restaurant again when the weather warms up.

The food was good, my pulled pork sandwich was delicious. However, the fries were a bit overcooked and seemed to have been fried in dirty oil because of the taste and color. Overall, it's a good place to take your wife or girlfriend for a nice dinner. I would definitely return and recommend this place!
