"It was Boxing Day, Kwanzaa, and they didn't plan well for the large amount of patrons. They didn't even look up my reservation but just told me they were understaffed and it would be a 15 minute wait. They called in another waitress and we finally got seated. The burgers were slightly overcooked for all of us. They ran out of the Wagyu so I settled for bison. I asked for medium and I got medium well. No pink! Reasonably priced but need improvement."

"This restaurant has a lot of potential with its great location right off a Metra train line, good food, a nice space to watch a game, and a huge rooftop patio. Unfortunately, the management continuously makes mistakes that hurt the overall experience. They seem to have no knowledge of how to properly run a bar/restaurant. The hours are inconsistent and they recently decided to close on Sundays. The service is below average and they often do not know what beers they have available. The menu lists incorrect side options and they do not seem to care to fix it. The patio is only open for a few weeks during peak season due to staffing issues. The issues with this place are endless and although the food is good, we have given them many chances but have decided to stop going."

"Its been a while but we thought we would give this restaurant another try. Regrettable decision. The server was super nice but very incapable. Maybe because she had too many tables, maybe because of lack of experience. Drinks took forever and when they came, my wife was not provided a wine glass. She would check with the bar right away. She would get the wine glass right away. She never delivered. For example, I had to get up and go to the bar and politely and oddly ask for a wine glass. The food is also underwhelming and over priced. All things considered, we did have a good time as we are relatively laid back. The experience with the kids and fondue is fun but this place is a hard pass going forward."

"We are longtime Hersheypark pass holders but had not eaten here yet so we were excited to come for my daughter’s birthday. In January so not tourist season when the place is jam packed with a long wait. The setting is very cool. Our server was good but he was also the only bartender and was almost constantly busy making drinks for other tables (we could see the bar from our table and was therefore slow to get to us throughout the evening. I don’t blame him at all and I understand that help is often hard to come by but we could have been in and out much faster. We were enjoying our time together and were not really upset about it but it is why I gave service four stars instead of five. The prices are definitely higher than a restaurant that is not part of an amusement park but it was what we expected (plus pass holders get a discount, so yay! . Portions were good and the food was yummy! And dessert! Wow! You can see them in the pics. My daughter got a milkshake (which was ridiculously awesome. Big shake with an entire slice of PB pie and a chocolate covered pretzel on top! We ended up taking those parts home. . The rest of us (5 people shared the fondue and had some leftover! So while it wasn’t a cheap dinner, we definitely got our money’s worth and highly recommend!"

"Worst restaurant breakfast I've ever had. I had the country fried steak tasted like everything was frozen pre made from the patty to the hash browns. It was very fast probably because they just had to microwave everything. "We had a table reservation on the Monday of long weekend at 6:45 pm. The servers and kitchen could not handle a full restaurant. This restaurant is by a movie theatre too so if they can’t handle it should not accept reservation. We party of 3) were seated at 6:45 and our dinner basic flam) was served at 8:15 pm!! Poor service, the food was good nothing special, the sangria had no alcohol flavor seemed to me really waterdown. Won’t go back."

"This was my first time at Melting Pit and when I say it’s one of the best food experiences I’ve had. They also have a Thursday date night which is about half the amount of the two can dine and I will be there because I have to try all the different fondue options. Also don’t forget to purchase that Garlic Wine seasoning it’s THE BEST! The spinach artichoke dip was real good and the ravioli the bomb, I needed a side order but didn’t want to ruin my spread lol but definitely go and enjoy"

"My favorite place we ate on our trip to Denver. Loved the atmosphere and décor inside. We sat at the counter to avoid the wait since we had a flight to catch in the afternoon and it was a great move. We didn’t order any cocktails, but since we sat at the bar we saw them being made and they looked great. I ordered the Maryland Benedict and the Flight of 4 silver dollar pancakes (because I couldn’t go to a place called Syrup without trying some). My partner ordered the bananas foster waffle. Everything was delicious! Staff was busy, hardworking, and very friendly. Overall a great last meal for our trip."
