"I've been to Lantern Thai twice once on the day I moved into the neighborhood, and again today, the night before I move out. Both times were equally underwhelming. I had vegetable dumplings for an appetizer. They were very clearly store bought and microwaved, and tasted awful. The veggies inside were so bland, it was like eating a dough wrapped icicle. Definitely steer clear of these. For mains, I've tried both the pad thai and the pad see ew. The pad thai is fine, not bad, not particularly good. The pad see ew from today's dinner, however, was also disappointing. It tasted like pure oil, with a hint of salt, and maybe some noodles to be found under all of that. So unnecessarily heavy, and left a lot to be desired in terms of taste. Service is very quick, and apparently they have a loyal following for takeout. But if I had never moved to this part of Brooklyn, I never would have stopped in here for a meal...and I would have been totally okay with that."
