"So I had my first experience in the new Panera Bread (Lockport, IL). So it rains so that it will of course be tons of cars in the car ride thru. I finally get into the window and when the young lady grabbed my sandwich, she hesitated and looked at it. I asked to confirm my order and she said they had made my sandwich wrong and they will fix it immediately. After a few minutes she comes back to the window and apologizes for waiting and explains that they are a little short staff. She tells me that she will give me the wrong sandwich, a biscuit and my right sandwich, because the waiting time and the mix up (please remind you that she caught the mistake before I got my food). When my food comes, another young lady gives me the bag, apologizes me too and tells me they give me the wrong sandwich, a cookie and my right sandwich. All this happened with smiles on each face (including mine). The girls who were teenagers acting on their own to make sure that my experience there is a good one and make sure that my order was correct before I got it. At no time there was anger, screaming, throwing Burritos to people, a manager who was called, lighting people or making a scene. Thanks to Panera for training this fine young woman, how to raise customer service and thank you to the parents who rightly raised her. I will come back"
