"Had a very poor experience here. We rented a car and drove out to Sconset specifically to have a drink and eat here. We went down to the poolside patio and bar. Seated right away and the waiter took our order. The cocktail was below average. We ordered the Mussels off the entree section. I had 4 mussels and couldn?t stomach anymore. They were terrible. Dried up, small, and had an extremely fishy smell and flavor. Some of the mussels were stuck to both sides of the shell. I cannot believe they charge $26 dollars for some of the worst mussels I have ever had. We called the waiter over and told him the mussels were bad. He just took them away without much apology. I didn?t want to risk them making it again so I asked the mussels be taken off my bill. We quickly paid the bill and left. This place is extremely overpriced even for Nantucket. Even worse is the apathy of the people who work there. 2 stars for the food, 1 star for the service."

"Very disappointed! I had a reservation when we arrived on time , the manager gave menus to a host and told him to seat us party of 6 in a room that appeared to be an overflow room that resembled a warehouse. I asked the host if we could be seated in the main dining room and was told there was no space for us with a reservation made ! Our calamari appetizer had maybe 8 10 pieces on it, 1/2 of them tentacles. My grandson could not eat his hamburger because it tasted weird , the scallop platter had 10 small scallops that were tasty but not worth the price. Our waitress was very nice and efficient the only good thing I can say about our experience . I will definitely not return nor recommend this restaurant."

"We love Black Horse. The food is always delicious and the service is very friendly. Today was extra busy, like Thursdays at 3 times. We recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a wonderful meal at a reasonable price. Hangar Steaks are incredible. And her chili is great. Add a piece of warm corn bread and it is a meal on and off itself. We always take leftovers home for another meal."

"Great value and very fast service! While the menu selection isn't extensive (it started as a deli, after all), the salads are fresh, and the sides are delicious for a casual dinner. They also offer some excellent local wines, and the coffee is good, too. I particularly enjoy karaoke night on Wednesdays. We had a quiet evening on a Friday, as things winded down quite early. The staff is friendly, and we even had an interesting conversation with a family next to us who arrived in a Tesla Model X with gullwing doors, which made for a fun chat. Overall, this is a nice spot to take visitors to Silicon Valley who prefer a quick meal."

"Not gonna lie the food was great! Went there last Friday, But all of that got forgotten by the bitterness of being charged 3 times. The waitress was never rude but she also did swipe the card 3 times before the bank had to block it was not until that happened that she finally came back to inform about the issue, checked the bank and 2 transactions from Black Angus had gone through, she went and brought the manager and even after acknowledging the bank transactions he still asked us to pay a third time with some other form of payment, he said sorry for your charges but since they couldn't make the computer print then we had to be charged again but that he would call on Monday to get the issue fix, well its now Thursday and it took talking to corporate with very nice lady, Jacquie Manager of Guest relations, the bank, and several confirmation calls after that the extra transactions were able to be refunded. The entire thing was managed very poorly with something that could of been cleared up after the first swipe and by checking the transaction on the bank. Might take another risk because the food was great but will make sure I pay cash to avoid all of that stress again."

"Service was good, energetic and enthusiastic...., however we did feel rushed. The food came out quick and hot and overall was exactly as expected. The quality and quantity satisfied and we had no complaints. There is usually a wait for weekend nights, so booking preferred seating via the open table app had us seated perfectly on time...to the dismay of many people who had been waiting for some time. Overall, this chain is on par for a great meal that is a refreshing change over other chains in the area. Give it a try if your in the mood for seafood!"

"The first thing you could see is that they were short handed, with that being said , every worker there was trying their best to make you feel welcome. Service was slow but with only a few servers helping many tables by them selves it is very understandable, they don't have arms and cannot be every where at once. I know our server was stressed but never let on while she was helping us. I wish I remembered her name to give her and extra shout out for her amazing attitude. As always food is amazing, congrats to the cooks for the perfect prime rib. Thank you guys and gals for being the best steakhouse !"

"there was no season, and when we asked for salt and pepper, the little dish brought us with small packages salt and pepper. we also had to ask for ice water and if we asked for a refill on our salad, we never got it. I also asked that my steak is medium and it was well closer to the medium. the last time I came here, I ordered exactly the same, but everything was so much better than this time. the service, the food and the accusations."

"Update From a 5 star to just one How sad I feel to write this review The food was amazing the wait staff also good people But.. the hostess well what I belive to be the hostess kicked us out of the restaurant She came to our table and told us we had a 90 minute time limit and we had to leave. We bought tall beers cocktails and 3 stake dinners and where going to continue to buy drinks. I've always enjoyed my outings Black Angus with my fellow coworkers or be a night out with my girl friend. Often it's always my first choice to enjoy a delicious meal and a couple of drinks. But after yesterday I will not be returning."

"I met my BFF for a holiday dinner. She ordered Shrimp Scampi with Roasted Vegs and I had the Langostino Lobster Pizza. Our garden salads were fresh and tasty, but dramatically different in portions. Their shrimps were plump and well prepared, but the vegetables (Brussels Sprouts and Butternut Squash) were hard. They had a small color from the skill or flat top, but were not cooked at all. She asked for the substitution of potatoes with Lobster sauce. Very delicious sauce with 3-4 pieces of lobster. My pizza was pretty good, a bit baked. Our server was efficient and friendly. When we told the manager about the undercooked vegetables, he seemed like he didn't know how to treat critical feedback, but said he would talk to him. RL is probably the best place in our small community."

"We were visiting Busch gardens for our daughters birthday and decided to come to red lobster. Red lobster is usually one of my favorite seafood places to eat. By the looks of the parking lot the place looked pretty empty. Walked in and was told it was going to be about a 15 min wait. (No big deal) we were seated at 7pm. It took forever for us to get our drinks. We ordered our food right away. We didn’t get our food for almost an hour after we ordered. Our actual waiter was nice but it seemed as the place was short staffed. The food was not super great. 2 out of 3 dishes were not great. They didn’t have anybody cleaning up dirty tables. Almost every table in the place had trash and food on it. People behind us were also complaining that their food was not good. I’m not usually one to complain but all I can say is wow. Thank goodness this is not our normal red lobster."

"I've been here quite a few times for family and business dinners. They are a super friendly staff, just a pretty poor night from the kitchen. Ordered the pork chop- it came out seared, but absolutely raw and cold in the center- all through. Unfortunately I took a bite before I looked at it (typically trust their food) and realized it was a cold/raw bite. Took a few mins for them to come check on us, so it sat a bit, then they offered to re-cook/heat the same piece. Returned it and was significantly over-cooked and dry. They did take it off the bill and were apologetic, but it kind of ruined the experience. My two guests had the braised beef which they liked. Apps were good. Although they took the entree off the bill, raw pork then over-cooked killed the experience."

"it has eaten here for poor food quality and service. this time it wasn't that bad. due to the short staffed was the hostess bus and sitting at once. he did his best and even though we had to wait, he was his work. the waitress was nice. but still forget small things. our eating was actually hot and the crab legs were not cooked over as they were in pastness. Overall, I see that the southern red lobster not only thinks quantity of quality."

"The food was great. Our waitress, Ashton, was very nice and attentive. The only reason for 4 stars is: my lobster tail was just a bit on the dry side (had trouble getting it out of the shell), the dipping butter wasn't very flavorful, and I'd like to suggest adding blue cheese dressing to the salad dressing selection. Wonderful birthday dinner experience over all. I couldn't finish my birthday ice cream ?."
