"Lunch Al Fresco was fenominal. The new terrace is fantastic. Great service, our server Steve was attentive and gave us the right amount of attention without being intrusive. Started with my favorite, Calamari all Botto. They were fried right now and came crispy mixed with mushrooms and spicy banana puddles. The appetite maker is huge, more than enough for 2 people, could probably serve four. My wife had the Italian panini, the truth is said that there is nothing special about it. It could only be personal taste, Prosciutto, Suppresata, Provolone and roasted peppers simply don't taste the same when heated in a panini. The bread was good and crispy, served with freshly made kettle fried potato chips, Koleslaw and pimples. My sandwich was excellent. I ordered the Cuban panini. Freshly grilled Hoagie Roll on a Panini press, filled with Roast Pork, spicy ham, cheese, mustard, cut pickles and other dressing. Also came with the freshly made kettle chips, Pickle and Coleslaw. The Panini are huge, the size of a long foot. More than enough for lunch the next day. The outdoor experience was great. A customer came in and went table to find out who had parked the red lotus over the terrace. He became the loud client behind us, who overwhelmed the table by him when he broke down the inventory of the collective cars he had. I lost counting after a red lotus, a Ferrari Testarossa, a Lamborghini, not sure the color, but it only has 40 miles. 3 Corvettes all have under 40 miles. Lost interest when he talked about his Ford GT. When we finished lunch, the owner of the lotus tried to escape, but he held him trapped. Mr Loud offered to buy the lotus for $40k cash. I also learned about his marital status, house cleaning, people who visit him and all his police acquainted. Botto's food and service is excellent, I highly reccomand the place. Although if you drive a red lotus, park it out of your eyes if you want to enjoy your meal.... Mr. Loud could go back for more delicious food."

"After spending a day at the Charleston Navy Yard and then up at Bunker Hill, we decided on an early dinnner. The closest place was (thankfully) downhill all the way on Pleasant street, a relatively easy walk. On a Tuesday afternoon at about 5 pm, we found the Warren Tavern not at all crowded and we were quickly seated in the room to the left after entering the front door (there was also outdoor seating). We had the room to ourself and took some time to admire the old thick beams in the construction and the provincial decorations. Our seat by the window also overlooked Main Street and it was nice just to watch the people and traffic go by on that beautiful afternoon. We both had the clam chowder, which was quite good, although perhaps not the absolute best we had while in the Boston area. We also both had the short rib shepherds pie, which turned out to be a hearty and tasty entree. Indeed, it was difficult to finish the dishes, since they were so filling. Dinner for two came out to just under $60, not including tax or tip. We didn't see any dedicated parking for the Tavern, and Pleasant Street is narrow and appears to be one-way. That wasn't a problem for us this visit, since I'd left our car at the Nautica parking garage (over near the Navy Yard), after dinner it was simple enough to walk the couple of blocks back there, collect the car, and then drive back to the Tavern to pick up the other member of our party waiting out front. Overall, a good meal in an attractive old building. I'll look forward to visiting again when we're next in the area."
