"My wife and I recently had a childless weekend and we had never been to Catawba before. My wife had spotted Orchard through social media and we were excited to stop in for dinner. We live in the Columbus area and one of our favorite things to do is go out and try new restaurants. My wife had a cocktail, I had a couple glasses of wine. I had the wedge salad and a steak while my wife had sea bass. In short, the food was fine. My steak was cooked well, but was under seasoned. Our waitress was MIA for long periods of time, so I wasn't able to ask for salt. On the other hand, my wife's sea bass was so salty that it was barely edible. At the end of the night, we dropped $250 on an OK meal. To top it all off, the parking lot was packed when we got there and they were running a free valet service. When we pulled out of the parking lot after the meal, I heard a strange noise coming from one of the tires. The lot was gravel, so I assumed that a rock was stuck in the tread. It was dark when we got back to the hotel, so I figured on getting the rock out the next morning. That would have been great had it been a rock. It was a screw and the following morning, my tire was completely flat. Instead of being able to have time to drive over to some nearby nature preserves to enjoy a beautiful morning, I got to change a tire in a hotel parking lot and wait nearly two hours at a nearby shop to get it patched. Needless to say, this put a damper on what I expected to be a lovely weekend. I reached out to Orchard, not asking for anything, but to inform them of the tire situation and hopefully prevent other customers from punctures. They did not respond. In short, the restaurant is incredibly overpriced for what they offer, especially compared to high end restaurants in Columbus with similar price points. I'm disappointed that they never responded to my message. The whole Orchard area is overhyped and underwhelming."
