"The staff at this restaurant is consistently excellent. The food is generally good, but I was disappointed with the pad Thai with shrimp that I ordered. The shrimp were small and tough, like rubber. Despite this, I would still recommend the dish, but I suggest trying the tofu or chicken instead. The lettuce wraps were delicious as always, and my husband enjoyed his Kung Pao dish."

"The waitress was great but the food was poor. We ordered the Kona calamari and it was soaked in grease with sitting grease on the bottom of the plate. The breading didn’t hold on the calamari and the plate looked unappetizing. Not good for $18. Left half of it paid and left."

"Starting with a warm greeting from Mark and his desire to quickly seat us, Lincoln Flats has this downtown niche thing nailed: amazing location, well decorated, well lighted, reasonable prices for the portions, great taps, great wine/cocktail list... and wow, amazing food! I had the dry-rubbed BBQ ribs, Lincoln Log pretzels (with delicious beer mustard) and fingerling fries. So many more seductive menu items will keep me coming back to try them all! Let me tell you, Flat-out: Lincoln Flats is a new Valpo force to be reckoned with!"

"Jazz is a table hostess Rockstar. Had dinner for Valentines day on a business trip and it was a pleasant experience ! I asked for honey mustard for my salad. It wasn't o. The menu but Jazz went back and made it from scratch for me. I have to say it was the best by far I've ever had. Also had the glazed Salmon and it was cooked perfectly medium. Such a great and friendly experience and atmosphere. We were again. Surprised when we ordered the three layer chocolate cake to go, Jazz brought out a Valentines rose for everyone at the table. Above and beyond and we are truly grateful for our experience!"

"Had a terrible experience in PF two weeks ago. We ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees. Our entrees arrived first, followed by our drinks, then our appetizers came last. We refused the appetizers and had a drink from a manager. Our blessing was a mess and more interest in socialization than good customer service."

"I like the fact that our waiter was kind enough to say I do not want to rush you so when you are ready you tell me . He was great. I had time to catch up with a friend and not feel rushed. The food was great."

"Second time at Jocelyn's, good authentic Mediterranean food. We sampled a nice selection of appetizers, which were all very good. Mixed drinks were well crafted for my co-diners, my scotch on the rocks was a good pour. Main courses were all huge. The chicken shawarma that two of us had was overcooked and on the dry side, but the leftover tzatziki from the apps kept the plate edible. We visited (two couples) on an early on Sunday night and the place was very crowded. There was a table of 20 nearby that did not effect our service, but probably was the reason for the dry shawarma. All the veggies on the apps and mains were fresh and perfectly ripe. We'll be back."

"The service was very slow, although nobody else was sitting at the bar. This location had NO: hot n acid soup, mango iced tea, dry rubbing ribs, Korean chicken BBQ stir fry or the ability to order only 4 crab bandtons. I have never seen so many “no” before. We were told that the reason was that they were a small market, but some articles would return in February. We only visited AL so that this was no help. Chang’s should be Chang’s, I shouldn’t have to check if a particular location is considered a small market before we drive over an hour to get there. Very disappointed about this visit Changes overall if this is actually a new rule for them."

"We always love to eat at Home Grown. The food is fantastic and the service is great. This is our first time sitting outside which is a fully covered porch which we enjoyed very much. Just a side note that for tables bigger than two people, they have small barstools which are less comfortable than chairs with no back support. A high back stool would be a nice addition."

"Kosar's is always good. However, we were a little concerned that either the food or service might have suffered from the Covid shutdown. Not so! They might actually be better than they were prior to the Covid shutdown. Food was fantastic and the service was great! The manager was fantastic for adjusting the number on our reservation"
"my family ordered the salmon with fried rice and it was beyond salty. eating is overpriced and it was a scandal that the presentation was good, but the execution of the shurr was terrible. also they had a dj for new years and it was so loud. we spent about 260$ and I felt like the restaurant was too casual for the prices. Maybe if they had better cooks, I would be ok, but I felt like I was eating mcdonalds pommes with extra salt."

"I always dine at PJ's whenever I'm on Long Island, and I especially love their all-you-can-eat lobster festival which is held three times a year: Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day. The cost is $60 per person and includes soup or salad, rolls, corn on the cob, red potatoes, mussels, and as many lobsters as you can eat, all served with melted butter. The atmosphere at PJ's is very casual with both stand and table seating options. They also have a fish market where you can choose from a variety of local and international fresh fish. They offer a selection of draft and bottled beers, sangria, wines, and soda. The prices are reasonable depending on your menu choices. The food is very good and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend PJ's."

"Overall a good experience. I guess I wish the service was a little better. Server was ok, not super friendly, Not too quick with bar drinks but ok. Food was very good. The piano player was excellent and music very good until a few girls went up and sat around the piano and sang with him, it really took away from the otherwise very nice entertainment. It was our anniversary they did give a card to us but no dessert or anything. That would have been a nice touch."

"Extensive bourbon list and good wine list We decided not to have an appetizer as I had read about the excellent desserts! Bread came out with a soft, herb cheese which was unexpected and delicious. I had the duck risotto which was AMAZING! It wasn’t too big and the mixture of duck, brussel sprouts and dried fruit really worked well. My husband had the veal meatballs which he enjoyed eating very much. We shared a salted caramel cheesecake and had coffee and bourbon. Overall the food was excellent, good quality ingredients and tasty. Wine was good and the service was extremely friendly and helpful. We hear that the restaurant is closing at the end of this year and are sad that we won’t get the chance to go back. Thanks for a great meal."

"Firebird's restaurant has consistently delivered good value and quality food and service. Despite a change in servers during our visit, the transition was handled smoothly. The restaurant offers a variety of options for everyone, including delicious cocktails and a well-curated wine list. It is a perfect spot for a romantic date night or a family celebration."

"I've only been twice and sadly both times were inconsistent but not necessarily in a bad way. When I went tonight, the duck was perfectly cooked instead of well done as it was at my last visit. My lemond-drop martini tonight tasted a bit more like alcohol rather than the lemon head candy it tasted like last time but, the bartenders tonight did try to experiment and get out closer to the candy taste after I told my waitress I wasn't sure what vodka I prefer and whatever one makes it taste more li … – show"
