"First timer here! I’m used to American style Mexican food smothered in cheesy goodness. I’m guessing this is more authentic Mexican food. I ordered a beef quesadilla and it was super small like taco size, along with rice beans and salad. It was decent but not amazing. I expected the quesadilla to be larger. My daughter ordered chicken poblano and she liked it. I really appreciated the attentive service and the atmosphere. The Mexican restaurant I normally have been to has put creepy skeleton pictures on the walls, so I‘be been looking for a new place. Taxco atmosphere is colorful and cute with authentic table decor. I loved it. I will give this place another try and order something g different. I hope to be able to update my review with 5 stars after another visit with amazing food."
