"BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! Edit: to correct some voice typos and to respond to the management comment. For some people $30- $60 per person is an insignificant amount of money. There's a nice status symbol feel to the atmosphere. You might feel like you're cool. There's no status symbol in the service or the food. It was hard to tell if our server was just overwhelmed with tables or incompetent so I can't judge. It wasn't the worst but she wasn't over indulgent with attending to our table. That gave us plenty of time to socialize and chat and it was the only good part of the entire experience. Let's talk about the food for a minute. Wait, let's start at the beginning and talk about our 6:00 reservation for eight including a wheelchair that wasn't ready. We had to wait about 20 minutes for the table to be ready and so we paid $30 with tip for two cocktails. The table wasn't full it just wasn't ready. When they finally came to tell us that our table was ready we got there to find out that it was arranged for six people instead of eight with one obvious wheelchair. We worked it out ourselves with nearby chairs and place settings. The table was so sticky that two people in the party used their napkin to clean up the table. These were not people obsessed with cleanliness, they did not want their arm to stick to the table. So, about the food. The street tacos looked like the most appealing plate at the table. Here again though it is status symbol street tacos. Miniature flower tortillas that were dry and hard for the foundation. With a small portion of sweet potato fries. Our table was easy to cook for, we had no special requests. Two fish and chips, two chicken parm, two salmon, and a street taco plate. When our food arrived it was missing one fish and chips and the tacos. These items possibly weren't cooked yet because they took a while to come to the table. The short order cook was probably STILL IN TRAINING just like the bartender. She told us that she was training but I didn't see anyone training her. The fish batter was thick like a corn dog in some places. Any professional cook would know to simply add some more water to get well coated crispy fish. As a result it was overcooked for both plates. A portion of generic coleslaw was directly on the plate mingling with the fish. The chicken parmesan was cooked dark as well. Some People order salmon because they're looking for a healthier plate. This plate comes with deep fried Yukon potatoes dripping in grease and overcooked to the point of exploding. I used ketchup because they were edible to me as french fries but certainly not healthy potatoes. Long cut green beans were tough. Not crisp but rubbery in texture as though they were frozen and reheated. Possibly even microwaved but I won't make that accusation. HERE IS The final nail in the coffin of bad review status. By the time we finally ate our food for our 6:00 reservation it was after 8:00 p.m. they close at 9:00 and our server wanted to quickly clear our plates even though only one person at the table was actually finished eating. My pet peeve is that even though I asked her to remove empty drink glasses from our table they piled up. They were still there when we left. The only fast service for the entire experience was when she returned with our cards to make payment. To whomever they may pick to respond to this crappy review, You should probably say something so that other people know that you care. The only way I'm coming back to waste my money at this place is for another gathering and I'm just ordering an appetizer because you don't deserve my money. I was dissatisfied enough to spend 30 minutes telling people about it. To the responding manager: I accepted your invitation to call at the number you gave me. The number for the restaurant to be specific. I called twice starting at 2:35. No one picked up the phone!"
