"The appetizer of mushroom stuffed was served cold, not even close to being warm. For dinner, I ordered steak and lobster. The potatoes were cold, the steak was warm, and the lobster was also warm. I decided not to order dessert because our bill was already over $150. The service was great and there was a good selection of wine. My husband's dinner was also on the warm/cold side. He ordered oysters for an appetizer, which tasted okay but were very small and almost not worth the effort. Neither of us complained to the server about our cold food, as we both have worked in customer service for many years. We would rather not go back than complain about our meals. Thank you."

"Service and food was awesome. Kai was the best waitress! Corned beef hash is homemade. Breakfast potatoes and large and well seasoned. Sausage is homemade and was phenomenal. Bacon had a sweet taste and was cooked to perfection. The pancakes are huge, sooooo good! The club sandwich was great. Everything was fresh and came out together. Wonderful meal! Excellent service! Highly recommend, and can?t wait to return. Loved the retro diner. Plenty of seating and parking."

"Previously we visited the location arlington and ordered some paints from alexandria. I feel that the quality has deteriorated a bit the last few times that we have been eating from here. my man and I both ordered the eye of the tigersandwiche and ran when we came last time. the pommes were good, but for some reason lacked the sandwiches paprika and had avocados as substitutes that we did not request or authorized. as we have eaten something with a kick on it, we were both disappointed and it just didn't taste so good."

"Nookies is a local gem absolute favorite for good, fresh, mainstream American Dining accommodating all tastes. And, Manager/Maître d' Roberto Evangelista Lopez is a treasure welcoming, accommodating special seating requests, and clearly dedicated to making sure that both repeat and new customers walk away happy. The pot roast is a fragrant, tender dinner option, as are any of the salads or in my case the curried Tilapia plate. Fresh apple/berry crumble and a to die for Brownie dessert make a great finale. For brunch, I love the grilled cheese sandwich best in the neighborhood."

"it was a protected restaurant with open windows and no doors. we had to wait and the restaurant was very busy. we thought this is a good sign! first, those were chickens that fall through the restaurant under the tables that wait for that scrap. there were baptisms and other birds that just flew over the tables that fall springing and on the tables and moss poop. the table behind us was sprayed with poop. we ordered salate. Southwest caesar black blue. they were in order, with fresh salate however could not be fully enjoyed with the threat of spraying."

"I was disappointed with the service at the restaurant. Despite the social distancing measures in place, there were plenty of tables available. When I first arrived, I was told that it would be a 45-minute wait. However, after mentioning my reservation, they quickly found a table for me, albeit one that needed to be cleared first. While the food was excellent, the overall service was lacking, to say the least."

"Vegan food had almost no flavor. The Buffalo bites seemed like they were microwaved. The vegan ranch tasted like mint, which was not very appetizing. Will not be returning."

"Our group stopped by for a bite after a hike. This place has an old diner feel and luckily we snagged the big booth in the back.I ordered the combo omelette, which came with hash browns and an English muffin. Honestly, breakfast is one of my favorites and this place serves breakfast all day.The omelette wasn’t as fluffy although it had a lot of meat. It didn’t look like the traditional omelette. It was also topped with melted cheese that looked unappealing. Reminded me of Kraft cheese slices, which I am not a big fan of. Taste wise for omelette, it was okay. Someone else in our group who also got an omelette said the same thing. Hash browns could have been crispier. Good portion size though.A couple people in our group ordered the gyro. Pretty big in size. One of them substituted the fries for fried zucchini. I think that’s the way to go.They did have a server come multiple times to refill coffee but not water. My friend asked one server for a to go container but she must have forgotten about it. So, someone from our group went up front to get one."

"At the crack of dawn, still operating on east coast time, we found ourselves at Laurie’s. Coffee was good- GREAT at that hour! And the staff never let me see the bottom of the cup. In fact, the most noteworthy of this place is the waitstaff. They were amazing. Chorizo omelette was humongous and the BLT was loaded with bacon and avocado. Definitely not stingy! Highly recommend for a solid, albeit predictable menu, well-executed."

"was not acceptable. the clam chowder was made in this hour as they tasted a lot of flour. had a lot of snuggles, kartoffels, but broth wasn't good. all three adults I was with had something and none of them liked it. my man and grand had calamari and they were over cooked, my man and I ate him. we asked for a doggy bag for our grandson, but he threw it out after we were gone. I think they should go and turn off."
