"Although inflation has affected us all, my friend and I were taken aback by our visit to Manuel's yesterday for lunch. For the past few years, my go-to lunch dish has been the taco salad lunch special. The price of this dish has been steadily increasing and is now almost double what it was a few years ago. This was not surprising, but it seems unlikely that customers are now earning double what they were a few years ago. What really surprised us was the decrease in portion size – it's now about half of what it was six months ago. So, double the price and half the food. On the bright side, we were seated immediately, received excellent service, had easy parking, and enjoyed the traditional Mexican decor. Plus, chips and salsa are still included with your meal."
