It's been some time since I last visited this restaurant. I had hoped to enjoy my meal, but unfortunately, the food was not good. We spent about $100 and ended up not eating much. The guacamole was old and unappetizing, the tacos were soggy and filled with overly salty beef that tasted like straight salt. The enchiladas lacked sauce, and even the sopapilla only had a few sprinkles of sugar. It seems like the cooks are not putting much effort into their dishes. I keep giving this place another chance, but I think it's time to add it to my boycott list.

Manuel's is one of my favorite restaurants, and definitely one of the top 5 authentic Mexican food spots in North America for me. Whenever I'm in Arizona, I always make sure to visit Manuel's for a fun, lively, and delicious dining experience. I always start with a cheese crisp, cooked extra crispy, followed by a cheese enchilada, seafood enchilada, or my new favorite, the green chili corn tamales. The food is absolutely amazing and the service is always friendly. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere and parking are convenient. If you're in the Phoenix metro area and craving Mexican food, I highly recommend Manuel's.
