"The waitress was rude and showed annoyance when asked about a particular menu. With mask on her face plus her accent I surely didn't understand her response. She raised her voice and became argumentative after I repeated my question. I was surprised of her reaction and the manner she speaks to me as a customer. I called her out for being so rude but it didn't bother her at all. She is a liability to the business."

"Based on the location I did not think this was going to be much to write about but boy was I wrong. The decor inside is lively and seems like a great spot to get dinner (I got lunch). The food was extremely fresh and was delicious. I would definitely go there again and would be tempted to go out of my way to get there if need be."

"This was a horrible experience starting the moment we walked in the door. 5:30 reservation for 8 and the spaced out hostess told us the wait would be “a while” with no explanation or time estimate. After waiting for 15 minutes we asked the manager why we could not be seated while there was an empty table with 9 chairs. Told us there was a bigger party coming that table was held for. If we have also have a reservation and are already here why would we not be seated? After another 20 minutes with that EMPTY table still there my grandma finally spoke up that she no longer wanted to stand and again asked why we must wait for a table while holding a table for a party that wasn’t there. After being seated we waited for over an hour for our cooked food while the sushi sat getting warm at the sushi bar. Appetizer that we were told would take 15 minutes came out with the food. I ordered the sea bass and it had absolutely no flavor. I am not one to send back food but refuse to pay $28 for a meal that tastes like nothing. Told the server that I didn’t want to order anything else as the rest of my party was eating and I wasn’t going to wait another hour just to eat alone. This entire time the manager never came to speak to us, never offered an explanation or apology. I understand that things happen and restaurants are unexpectedly short of staff. As a manager you should be explaining these issues to customers so they can know what to expect. If the hostess had explained to us how short of staff they were we would’ve went somewhere else to eat. Maybe this was a one off as other reviews are great but for a special occasion I would go elsewhere. We were celebrating Mother’s Day, a birthday and two engagements with most of our party coming from out of town. It was an embarrassment and after the disregard from management I will never come back. Only positive was from our waitress who was attentive and apologized for everything. She should not have to do managements job."

"Tried this restaurant because the two sushi places on Austin Street are mostly takeout. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious great with an enormous menu-much more than sushi-Japanese and other hot asian dishes. Going back tonight to try morethings on the menu."

"Super delicious everything you eat Sushi! Wow! In addition, you get a salad and an appetizer, I chose crab Rangoon- they have a unique taste and due to their small size they are beautiful and crispy! The roles on all you can eat are obviously not all fantasies, but there are many great options and it's just about $15 for lunch when it's all said and done! There was also a decent amount of other people there was, but the server was attentive. And for a sushi place I feel like our food came out pretty fast!"

"I went here after a long time the quality of food is bad. I had 2 kids with me they were hungry I ordered a Kani salad and avocado rolls . And 2 other entres. It took sometime to come . The kani salad was a bed of mixed greens with a bunch of crunch on top with barely any kani. No dressing came with it just a bare dry salad, we had to ask twice for soy sauce the other entres was noodles it took forever I asked for the order to be cancelled and asked the server to charge me for whatever was on my table , 20 mins later after the sever came back 2 x , plus another server came 2 x until the manger came demanding a reason why I wanted the order cancelled , my 2 yr old is cranky , I told her madam I asked for the Order to be cancelled 20 mins ago … now going on more than 20 mins … I asked again can I have my bill she prevented me from moving and here comes the severs running coming bringing my food I said calmly I don’t want it I asked for to be cancelled … the manager Vivian was rude when I asked for my bill she roughly gave me a bill for the food I asked to be cancelled now I walked with my 2 yr old in my hands she started abusing I told her again I am not paying for food I asked to be canceled and for food that I did not eat she started screaming as if I didn’t want to pay my bill embarrassing me in the place , I repeated myself again , she started again berating me , now saying she’s going to call the cops I told he 2x go ahead and call them, the other server gave me a bill now for what I actually had on my table, my sister gave her cash and the manager now had us waiting, now my 2 yr old started crying , we kept asking for our change and the mgr kept on ignoring our request and still continued berating me saying what type of parent I am is this is what I am teaching my kid , I told her yes to stand up and not be bullied by people , she kept coming to my face and yelling at me berating me , her servers and hostess told her the customer wants their change it took her overall another 20 mins to give us our change .. I had a cup od soda in my hand and I roughly placed it on top of the cashier area it fell and splattered the mgr with my 2 yr old in my hand thrower back the cup at me , and still continue to berate me. Lack of customer service , poor quality of food hence the reason I cancelled my other dishes . They threaten ppl , and berate customers . What a shame. Mgr’s name is Vivian clearly they delayed me so the food would come do they can charge me, I was waiting for her to call the cops!"

"All the food options are excellent. I have had several of their dishes and have not been disappointed...ever. My sister, lives in Salina, Kansas, asks to eat there every time she's in town. She absolutely loves the Pad Thai. I love the sushi. Visit their website for all menu items of all their delicious plates. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"I was thoroughly impressed by the vegan sushi at this restaurant! They offer the Miracle Vegan Roll and the Special Vegan Roll, with the Miracle being my favorite. I also recommend trying the Palace Curry. The menu is extensive with many other vegetarian-friendly options. They are knowledgeable about vegan dietary needs and can modify dishes accordingly. However, please be aware that the Pad Thai dishes contain fish oil and are not vegan-friendly."

"I should have ordered sushi instead. I got the seafood yaki soba and while I was pleased with the waitress and her attentiveness, I was not happy with my meal. The seafood included 5 shrimp, 2 scallops (cut in half), and a 3-inch piece of imitation crab (also cut in half). In my opinion, no restaurant should be rated higher than 2 if they serve imitation crab. The shrimp were overcooked and lacked flavor, the scallops were colorless and tasteless, and the imitation crab speaks for itself. The noodles were decent. On the other hand, my 11-year-old daughter enjoyed her salmon hibachi with no complaints. I would like to give this place 3 stars for the exceptional service, but the quality of the food brings the overall rating down."
