"Cool casual place with pretty good thai food. Chicken was great, and so was Pangag Curry, very tasty. Kao Soi was good, but the chicken on the bone made it hard to cut.We enjoyed it and might try something again. However, we did feel a bit rushed. I think they have different spice levels, we weren't asked, so I assume it was somewhere medium, and I wouldn't mind to spice it up next time.Good gluten knowledge and options!"

"We love Mai Thai! A great place to hangout, and the food is always awesome. We've never had issues with the service. The bathrooms are kinda small, so keep in mind you may have to wait, but that's really the only critical thing I could say! "Tiny little hole in the wall sushi place with a very generous lunch special offer on bento boxes. I chose the salmon teriyaki version though you can have your choice of tempura or katsu with a variety of proteins. There's not a whole lot of room, so get cozy. First off, a steaming hot miso soup was served to start off the meal. The bento box soon arrived and I was pleased with how much was included from four pieces of a simple California roll, 3 pieces of shumai dumplings, a small salad with a lovely peanutty gingery dressing, sliced carrots and steamed broccoli, freshly made jasmine rice and a thin but tasty slab of salmon teriyak on top of sauteed onions and green peppers. For less than $12, people! Take note for those who want to stuff their faces. Everything was delicious. The only thing I missed was a hot cup of tea served upon arrival, something I thought was ubiquitous at Asian restaurants but now seems to be only served upon request and for an additional fee."

"Very delicious. I have the drunk noodles with crispy tofu and no eggs. I liked the interior, and it was quite busy about the lunchtime, so you could say it is a popular place among the locals. I want to go back to try more items from the menu. You have many options that can be made vegan. Definitely recommend!"

"The restaurant was very busy with carry out, so there was a lot of foot traffic coming and going. Glad to see they were busy. No table decor, just hand sanitizer, but hey, it’s so you can’t have everything. Very attentive with water refills. Food was good, large portions, very fresh"

"Best Thai Restaurant in Maine and Top Thai Restaurant in USA. Overall, the food was good. I've been a loyal customer for 11 years and the taste never changed. I love to order kra thong zang, shrimp tom yum soup, tom kha. Pad see ew, pad kee mow, pineapple fried rice, etc. Your mango sticky rice also very good, but only available depends on the mango season. The owner is very nice and most workers here are very welcoming. Taste similar to food in Thailand. Very recommended to eat here. You have other locations, but somehow the taste a little difference and I just like the one in South Portland."

"Siam Ginger is, hands down, our FAVORITE Thai restaurant in the area. The service is always exceptional and the food is beyond delicious. My boyfriend and I can't get enough of their drunken noodles they're spicy, sweet, and full of flavor. Siam Ginger even hand decorated our bag when we ordered take out recently!"

"this is an indoor dining area at the end of a strip-pasty. there are large windows that along the front of the restaurant for those who love their vitamin d.It is a smaller location with about 8 tables and the ambiente is quiet and quiet. I ordered the chu cheehuhn, which is fried, which chicken pieces with an orange flavored cocosnus sauce and jasminreis together with a miraculous/smoothing suppe. the supper broth was clean, clear and full of taste. the storms were delicious and did not come apart. the fried chicken was fried in a light teig and the chee sauce the rest with a balanced taste of the flavor would recommend and will definitely come back!"

"What a hidden gem and pleasant surprise. The name som tum kinda scared me away since i am not a huge fan of it. But by chance parking was an issue at Sapp down the street (surprise right? and we decided to try this place . Whao, so glad we did. We had the Lacha noodle in soup, the noodle (yellow egg was the best I ever had in LA, from Thai to Chinese restaurant, it's the perfect Al dente soft yet still chewy. The prawn was also really fresh (in restaurant with slower traffic , I pretty much ingredient won't be the freshest, but it is . We also have the pad Thai crab omelette, the pad Thai was just right not too sweet. Also have the fried banana (which is great with ice cream . Overall, I hope this place survives, foot traffic seems pretty slow , parking is not the best , just as most of Thai town. Definitely coming down"

"Such a nice yummy evening with the 4 of us. Presentation of the food is beautiful, almost as good as it tastes. Perfect size portions if you are starving or want a tiny to go box. Service very polite and attentive. One peeve: odd smell, like they just cleaned but not a fresh scent, maybe change cleaning products or wash all soft seating."

"Incredible. My friends and I have come here 1-3 times per month for the past year. Every time I have family visiting, I take them here. The food and flavors are truly on another level. Every dish I've had is great. My favorites are the drunken noodles, but I've heard great things about the pad see ew, basil fried rice, and pad thai from my friends. We've had so many of their appetizers, and all are wonderful. Special mention to the mango sticky rice, which is divine. I am going to be so sad when I move next year and have to leave this place behind. It is a gem! You can tell the people who own the place are incredibly hardworking. They always have so many carry out orders, but they are still so incredibly prompt and kind with service. I truly, truly love it here and it is my favorite restaurant!!
