"My first time to Kamiya 86 and it was a good time and great sushi. Our waitress Zoe was fast, reaction, and very ready to prepare for us all we could describe to her. I showed her a picture of my favorite role from another restaurant and she had her make it. How about that? The restaurant is well furnished and raised and the cabins are comfortable. Everything is a la carte and fits quickly. We had a salad, soup and saki together with several rolls apiece. Our bill was $128. Plus 20% tip for three. A wonderful time and great sushi and I would go back but with all the “All can You eat “Sushi menus offered throughout the city this would be a special night for me. Five STAR nights."

"My friend brought me to this restaurant because I wanted Thai food for my birthday party. Every chance I try green Papaya salad I always taste like every Thai restaurant does it. There are two options: Thai or Cambodian version. We chose the Thai version that had a nicely mixed dressing and fresh ingredients. I loved it absolutely! Of course we had to try a curry noodle, good flavors and flavors such as comfort food, a warm hug in a bowl. We picked the eggplant as a veggie court. Perfectly embellished and presentation was colorful. You know that the food is so good when you can eat and talk and the time goes by quickly. This place is legit authentic Thai food. An unforgettable meal with a good friend is the best! Quality food and quality time is my favorite activity. I also love the decor and ambience of the place. Servers are friendly and attentive. Parking can be hard to find, but there is a lot over the street, so just walk. If you are in the area, check out this place!"

"My husband and I had dinner for a special date night at Ka-Prow. Everything was delicious and the service was great. The best part of our experience was that I could enjoy a fabulous restaurant with a large gluten-free menu that was freshly prepared and of excellent quality. When we sat down, I was given a nice menu that only included safe options for me to eat. This was a first for me as I am gluten-free, and our server was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and even asked if there were any other ingredients I needed to avoid. This may not seem like a big deal to some, but for someone like me who can get very sick from cross contamination with gluten, this was truly life-changing. Tonight, I was able to enjoy a meal with my loved one without worrying about anything but overeating! Thank you to Ka-Prow for serving up healthy, amazing, gluten-free options. Chef O, thank you for creating such an incredible place. We will definitely be back!"

"However, we had to wait a long time for our food, which was understandable given the busy atmosphere. The order was split, with the second half of our food taking at least 30 minutes longer to arrive. I was a bit disappointed, though, as I never saw our original bartender again after she took our food order. We were never offered a second round of drinks, and our glasses had been empty for at least half an hour. Despite this, I could tell that the bartender was skilled, and it might have just been bad timing that affected our service. I would definitely give the restaurant another chance, even though I was left wondering about the poor service I experienced. Overall, I think Nickel City deserves another opportunity to impress."

"At first glance, the exterior of the restaurant and the surrounding businesses didn’t look very appealing. However, upon stepping inside, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and cozy the atmosphere was. The menu featured a wide variety of dishes, but I already had my heart set on curry with chicken. They offered five different kinds of curry, which I had never encountered before—I always thought there was just yellow curry (lol). The waiter was very helpful and recommended the red curry, and since I’m a spring roll enthusiast, I couldn’t resist ordering some of those as well! I was pleasantly surprised when the spring rolls arrived; unlike many other Thai restaurants that only serve two, I received four along with a side salad! They were absolutely delicious, and the peanut sauce was delightful too. When my red curry finally arrived, it was a fantastic culinary experience. The dish contained bamboo and a generous amount of chicken, which added to its appeal. When it came time to settle the bill, I expected it to be quite pricey, but to my surprise, it was even cheaper than other places. I paid $6 for the spring rolls and $11 for the curry, and it was definitely worth every penny! I look forward to returning to try more dishes in the future!"

"Met up with a friend I hadn't seen in two years, and to change things up we walked up and down College like in Before Times. Saw the menu outside and it looked just right. We walked in and the hostess asked us if we wanted to sit away from the crowd, closer to the window (she later explained that there was a large rowdy party and didn't want us disturbed. So of course we were immediately amazed by her thoughtfulness! And then it got better. I got the pork pumpkin curry, my friend got an asparagus dish and both were seasoned beautifully (have been to some Thai spots where it tastes like everything was topped with the same sauce). The food came out quickly, and were in generous portions as well. We lingered to talk, and never felt pressured to pay and leave, and even had a lovely conversation with the hostess/waitress as we were finishing. What a wonderful way to catch up with a friend and really feel like part of a supportive community again."

"Being new to Allston, I've been meaning to try all the restaurants around me, and seeing how this place is only short walk from my apartment I gave it a shot after work. I like that the menu's are QR codes (save paper), and the menu items have good photos and the prices are reasonable. Also, this place is amongst some of the later closing ones. Had a tough time choosing on a single appetizer, so I got their sampler which was actually really filling for what it was. The sauces are homemade in little cups and everything is seasons and tasted good. The fried chicken had some burnt ends, but I appreciate a burnt end every now and then. The staff was friendly, however the space itself is pretty small. Good to take a date, but it can easily feel overcrowded. When I ordered it was to-go which was ready hot in 15min. Definitely going again to try more of the menu as the sampler was missing some of the key apps I was hoping to get. Overall, I'm happy."

"My girlfriend ordered first, and the server didn't bring out her food. We had to order it again, because the server didn't remember her asking for it (she hadn't written it down). I ordered the sashi mori, and the sashimi was frozen. Both my girlfriend and I had ice crystals in our fish. Beyond that, all of the salmon in the sashi mori was smoked salmon. I don't mind some of the pieces being smoked salmon, but it was too much that all the salmon was smoked. The four pieces of crab were imitation crab. Not a great choice for a sashimi platter. The shrimp shumai was pretty good. We won't be coming back. I get that fish may have to be frozen for transport, but make sure it's fully thawed before serving it and at least pretend it's fresh."

"I ordered my lunch through door dash, according to the app everything was fine, Lotus Garden decided to cancel my order and then call me now I have waited for my lunch for 45 minutes, the money for the cancelled order does not go immediately back youraccount. "at this weekend. it looked cool with the pink lights and outside heating they had. so my date and I go up and ask to take a place. we get a place outside, as they have to show a proof of the holiday to sit inside. we scan qr codes for the menu. when my data used the rest room. the waitress came by and asked for our drink order. I have let them know I have to wait for my date to order. she comes back and waitress comes with water and asks again for drinking order, but she had no chance to look at the drinks options. So we order drinks and very soon after we are asked to place our order. we asked about time and the waitress says the kitchen closes soon so we have to order immediately. she comes back with drinks and asks for order. this time she stands next to my date and waits to hear what she wants to order. very unpleasant and unpleasant to order while someone stands next to them as they look over the menu. unnecessary to say, we are not impressed by the waitress and her attitude. we'll get our order and we'll get the food out. that's very good. we enjoyed our meals and the mayhai I ordered. my date ordered the Thai mule we both thirsted. when we ate our meal, a group of 6 people were sitting next to us and could order food and drink. we were not rushed for anything when the kitchen was not too close. I will not come back, I expect much better service for a location that should be a high end. it doesn't matter to pay for a good meal, but with this meal and the price should also come a good service. Actually, it is not worth going there to have a bad experience. many other restaurants in jack london square to choose from."
