"The food was amazing. The house tomato sauce was the best we've ever had. I got the ravioli in tomato cream sauce with shrimp. It was fabulous! The homemade bread served with olive tapenade was delicious as well. Our child was delighted in the adult style children's menu (nice, cursive, in a leather folder). He loved the pizza. Great authentic Italian ambience and waiters. We will definitely go back and recommend to others."

"We had Salmone alla champagne, Salmone Calabrese, Linguine alla Checca, Gnocchi alla Sorrentina, Torta di Ricotta and Affogato. You can say the ingredients were very fresh. The champagne sauce was creamy and delicate and the salmon was gently boiled. The salmon in the calabrese was crisp. The veggies in the Linguine alla Checca were tender, but not mushy. And the gnocchi was padded and held the marinara in the grooves. The desserts were also delicious. Haley was our server. She was very attentive and helpful. All waiting staff were busy servings, cleaning tables, refilling of water and iced tea, and offer garlic toast. It was a very nice meal."

"My wife and I came here for my birthday on May 2022 and experienced a dinner to always remember. I ordered off the menu and requested from our waitress, calamari luciana. Oh my God was it good!!! Our waitress was soooo nice to put in a special order even though it was a busy Saturday night. After dinner the waitress brought us a caramel gelato with happy birthday on it. Just another added touch to a great memory. Great fast service, reasonable prices and a very friendly staff. The waitress and calamari luciana has made this my new favorite italian restaurant! We will definitely return."

"First time there. Very impressed. Kind of a Gramercy Park neighborhood “hidden gem”. I believe there since 1950s. Cozy dining room with low noise levels. Easily can have table “conversations”. Zucchini sticks a delicious appetizer. Pasta dishes, perfect. Bread basket great. And ….. a special callout for the Eggplant Parmigiana. Really good. Comes with broccoli carrots. Will be back!! "My wife and I have been frequent diners of this restaurant starting from their roots in Brooklyn, The Queen Restaurant. That includes their first location and their pizzeria which was separated by a movie theater. We continued dining when they moved to their new Brooklyn location and now, we have followed them to Bernardsville. More than 50 years and not a single bad meal, ever. Pat the owner and Chef and his son, Michael are just fabulous salt of the earth people, we love them and we love their restaurant and that includes many of the wait staff and bartenders, some whom we've known for more than 30 years. The food is out of this world and always has been. Do not hesitate to eat there, I have no doubt it will be an exceptional experience."

"I reserved a table in “the garden.” It’s actually a kind of backyard greenhouse without the green. It was extremely noisy like an echo chamber and only half full. It must be deafening when filled to capacity. My wife and I couldn’t communicate due to the noise. We changed to a lovely window seat up front. We had a tasty green salad with smoked duck. It was excellent. My main dish was the sausage and broccoli rabe lasagna. I chose this because it’s cooked with homemade pasta. This dish was submerged in gobs of melted cheese, so much so that I could hardly taste the sausage, pasta and broccoli rabe. Not good. I left half of it. My wife had a panino with salami and Gorgonzola on ciabatta roll. She liked it. Overall this was a mediocre experience and, with all the restaurant choices in this area, I would not return."

"A few wks ago I took my daughter out to eat for her 24th bday along with her dog , we were looking for a pet friendly restaurant to our surprise we found ' Sotto Voce ' never eatn here before but we took a chance bcuz we were able to bring our dog (our life along ... we sat outside and ordered spinach ravioli, sea food pasta , eggplant and baked clams . We were accommodated with a piece of teramisu ; everything was very good and the hospitality was nice we truly enjoyed ourselves we had lots of laughs watching our dog just sit there behaving so well (1st time we took her out to dinner LOL ' WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN!
