"Huge fan of Tonchin and one of my fav places in LA. I’ve had a lot of experiences here and have essentially ordered something from every section of the menu from food to drinks to desserts, and it’s all been 10/10. I specifically love and crave the Tonchin salad and the curry wings. Also, the Japanese 75 cocktail and strawberry highball are two of my fav drinks I’ve ever had. The vibe is chic, yet cozy and I’ve always had top notch service here. You can usually walk in if you’re a small party and willing to sit at the bar or get there early without a reservation. I’m not sure why they aren’t slammed all the time. Can’t recommend Tonchin enough!"

Lived in LA 2 years and this the best restaurant we’ve been to. Every dish was amazing, the service was great, good vibes, and nice price for what you get We will be back. Worth the drive from Santa Monica to come here

Minimalistic and thoughtful decor with attentive service. Food is fusion with an Asian twist. Soup base of the ramen is one of the best I have ever tasted. Fried fish taco is special, salad is refreshing and the dessert Tokyo banana is not overly sweet at all. I really like everything they offered.

Tonchin is one of spots we go once a week because the food is very good and the ambiance vibe is nice. The fish buns, salad, gyozas and ramen are our faves. If you go with a group, definitely order the shaved ice dessert! Our favorite server is Aiko, she is always so friendly and makes us feel very welcome.
