"After slow service at the start, the sushi started appearing and it was most excellent. It’s better to order off the chef special menu than the standard sushi menu even though the latter are quite excellent. Noisy as other reviewers have noted. Updated: went back a second time. "We went for the first time after being recommended to me. The sushi was fantastic. Every time we try a new sushi place in Dublin, they just get better and better. We had the caterpillar, double jalapeno, and their take of a Philadelphia roll. All three were amazing. As far as the atmosphere, it was busy but the place wasn't loud. The restaurant was clean and the seats were comfortable at the sushi bar where we sat. Service: Dine in"

You can dine alone or with friends, and have a view of the tropical fish tanks flush against the wall. The owners live in the neighborhood and that may also have a bearing. The sense of loyalty and responsibility to the community! I've seen many other restaurants come and go in the Neighborhood, yet JP Seafood has stood the test of time! "This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The customer service from start to finish was terrible. We waited in the cold to be seated due to loud music. It took 10-15 minutes for our water and soda to arrive once we were seated. The sushi rolls came before the appetizers, the oysters were not served on ice, and our drinks came last. When we tried to order in stages, the server insisted that we order everything at once. The service was so poor that we chose not to leave a tip. The server even confronted us about this, which made us feel very uncomfortable. We decided to leave without finishing our meal due to the awkward situation. The server continued to ask us in front of other guests and staff members why we did not tip. This experience was very disappointing, and I hope this review warns others about what to expect at this restaurant."

"Easily some of the most fresh and delicious sushi you'll find in the east bay (I've been to a lot). Getting food to go takes 15-20 minutes on average and eating in usually takes a little longer depending how busy they are. Either way their service is really good and the staff is professional. Prices are a little high (thanks to Brandon and his voters) but the food is worth the price"

"This is such a good izakaya! I am pretty suspect of izakayas in America but this one actually slaps. Everything we ordered came out very quickly in small sharing portions. It was packed and buzzing with energy which made it more authentic feeling. We sat at the bar and they handed us our food on a super long peel which is something I've only seen done in Japan!Loved the sashimi and the special shima aji (striped jack) sashimi which was sooo good we kept ordering more. The skewers were good but I liked the ones at secret fort more, but I 10000% like this place more than secret fort because the service is quick and your food comes out fast whereas secret fort takes way too long. It shouldn't take an hour for 8 skewers to come out."

"The Shabu shabu is a big deal $22). Fed 2 of us easy, could definitely feed 3 people. The beef was very tender and the broth was delicious. And the sesame sauce that came to diving was the best I had 10/10 We also have some nitrile, but both agreed, we will probably only share the Shabu Shabu Shabu Shabu since there is plenty of food for us without the extra nitrile. I will notice that their hours have just changed since they were closed early at 1:30 instead of 2:00."

"We had the worst dinner experience tonight at Sushi Azabu. We ordered two sushi nigiri sets which came with the toro hand roll. The toro in my hand roll has two FISHBONES in it which I have never would have happened in a high end sushi place. We were very very upset and the waitress first said they can offer us matcha ice cream, then she said she will ask her manager again.
