"This is such a good izakaya! I am pretty suspect of izakayas in America but this one actually slaps. Everything we ordered came out very quickly in small sharing portions. It was packed and buzzing with energy which made it more authentic feeling. We sat at the bar and they handed us our food on a super long peel which is something I've only seen done in Japan!Loved the sashimi and the special shima aji (striped jack) sashimi which was sooo good we kept ordering more. Very busy place but service was fast! My husband usually orders sashimi or tuna collar, my go to is yakiton. It melts in your mouth and just heavenly!! This place is hopping pretty much whenever we show up so I recommend calling first.

Wow!! Loved this place. Staff was so friendly, we came here for happy hour and got so much food. The yakitori and yakiton were perfection, the jfc (Japanese fried chicken) was delish, the fried potato pancake things were on point and everything else was pretty good too. The kalbi short ribs (not pictured) were the only ones i felt could've been a little more flavorful. But no complaints and I had the best time. Will come back to try their sushi next time!
