"the first time here at zip tofu and grill, yesterday brought a gas from the city to lunch. this restaurant is large and spacious. server were friendly, attentive and accommodating. thank you, mabel! waitress and other employees have always checked on our table, although restaurant was full and it was really busy. for the yellow korvina it was not very important, but the oyster and tofu suppe and clam and tofu suppe were very good. the Teriyaki chicken was also good. we're coming back!"

"Small inside but very comfortable and has a very intimate and authentic sushi joint vibe. Sushi chefs work quickly, sitting at the bar was great. Our server for the 2 kitchen items ordered and for our drinks was fantastic. The chefs choice for the sushi and sashimi was far beyond my expectations. The sushi chef chose some fish we've never had but it was all way better than what I'd normally choose for myself. I will definitely be back to bring my family. Not an ideal location for large groups over 6 or 8 due to seating. Price was average compared to other sushi joints."

"Our Server did a horrible job. When I asked what the Chefs Special was he responded by saying Starwberry Grouper and that's it. His name is Patt B. Horrible server. When he worked with another table he explained the entire dish, showed the fish on the wall, etc. I think it had a lot to do with the color of my skin. Needless to say I won't be revisiting. The food was pretty good, not amazing. I ordered the Chef's Whole Fish, Chefs Fish, and the Huckleberry Goat for dessert."

"the open table took a non-refundable payment for the reservation to be deducted from the bill of $100. but when the bill came, they had only deducted $50. they showed me in my bank app and then the open table app that was charged $100. If we hadn't noticed, they would have overwhelmed us. After giving us a hard time, the manager never came by to apologize for the inconvenience. really bad customer service."

"Can never go wrong at this awesome place. Their drinks are amazing. Cocktails and soju hello what a deal. The service is fantastic and welcoming. They all strive to work hard. Usually come here for their skewers specials atm they said it’s temp gone but will come back when the skewers come back on the menu cause my lord it’s so good. Had their zucchini fries with yogurt dipping as an appetizer it was great different experience and my best friend had their famous martinis she always gets there. Totally worth the investment to go out on a date brings friends and hang out with family. It’s warm all around with the heaters."

"Came here for late lunch. The restaurant has outdoor seating. Since we have pets, the outdoor fits our needs. However, the patio is in the back of the restaurant, so the staffs didn't notice us. It's understandable as it was not peak meal time. I'm sure they are short on servers.Food was great. Pretty tasty and authentic for a city not popular for Asian food. I would recommend this place.Vegetarian options: There are several rolls options that are vegetarian.Parking: The restaurant is in a business complex with many stores. Parking lot surrounding the complex with plenty of spots.Wheelchair accessibility: The place is very spacious, appropriate for wheelchair entry. "Really good food and a huge selection of dishes to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty everything was. I wasn’t that familiar with several of the dishes and ventured to try some new stuff that turned out to be amazing. Yang chow fried rice was tasty with bits of Chinese sausage and huge pieces of succulent shrimp. Fish tofu and melons in supreme broth was a delightful milky soup with soft fish pieces and fresh, crisp vegetables in a peppery soup. Mongolian beef with scallion was light and tender and flavorful with crisp red onions and crunchy scallions. A great choice for dinner!"

"From here, since I saw that they were serving lobster rolls. Came during the lunchtime and was quick to sit and the waiter was very nice. The lobster was really delicious. There was a lot of meat and they give you a small cup of melted butter to use as a dip. Other people ordered appetizer types of dishes and they also looked delicious. I will definitely come back and try other things on the menu. I recommend this place if you are looking for some lobster rolls!"

"I celebrated my moms birthday here tonight and it was such a great experience. Food was great hospitality was great! Grilled oysters are a must. Calamari is delicious. Garlic noodles delicious. "Well the occasion for my outing was my birthday. What caught my eye about this spot at first was its name Maru. It's MY childhood nickname that I still use today. It's originated from my family calling out my real name but in Spanish. I just had to look into it to see wast it was about. I'm glad we came here. I really enjoyed this place. We didn't rent a room which we will do next time just for the experience. We had a table. Good environment good location. Our host was kind, very attentive and courteous. We never waited long for our next drink or order of food which was all good for bar food, our choice. We especially loved their buffalo wings. Most of us enjoyed their appletinis. I will definitely recommend this place to other people."

"Made a reservation online for a special occasion and confirmed the reservation with “Mel.” Online confirmed EMC was open till 11. We were on time for our 8:45 reservation only to find the restaurant “closing early” at the direction of the bar manager. The owner of this EMC franchise should wonder why his staff is closing his restaurant early, when the rest of the mall is open late, packed with hungry patrons. Am enclosing a picture of the online EMC hours showing open till 11 on thursdays. No one at EMC even bothered to apologize, blaming it on a former Manager. One employee claimed she called 2x and left messages the restraturant was closing early which is false. No messages received from EMC. Skip this dump and go to a real restaurant that cares about its patrons, putting service before the whims of its staff."
