"Once I finally sat down, she told me to move because that spot was for delivery people. But then she seated someone else at that same table who was Asian. That didn't sit right with me. What made me even more uncomfortable was when a white person came in and she immediately accommodated them, even using terms of endearment. I overheard their conversation and it seemed like he was a regular. But that doesn't excuse the fact that I was treated poorly and had difficulty being seated at the restaurant.
As for the food, it was okay, nothing special. Maybe I wouldn't be saying that if I hadn't been treated so badly. My advice to them is, if they take their business elsewhere, they should leave their racist attitudes behind. Being racist is unacceptable, especially in NYC. It's disrespectful and embarrassing for the restaurant. I'm happy to hear they are closing in a month. Hopefully, they can take that bad energy with them."
