"Ate lunch there today, our first meal there, totally disappointed. The chicken in the chicken tikka masala was not tender with insufficient gravy. The white rice served with this entree was not even luke warm We asked for a medium spicy chicken biryani that was served too too spicy even for our Indian taste buds. Felt like stale food was heated and served up, not cooked freshly, we’ll definitely not visit again. Pricey food but where is the quality? I wouldn’t recommend eating here."

"the staff is very friendly and efficient, the wait was a little long for our eating, but when it came out...it was always amazing! try the sampler appetizer, the taste, as nothing ive before attempts to highly recomend the mango lamb, def top of my favorite food sites. wants to say the bathroom reminds of a truck top, but that besides, the environment and eating were exceptional"

"So this place is built directly on the hills where they have terrace and you can forget the view to take photos from the view). For the starter: I had Gobi Manchurian it was very fresh, highly recommended if one cannot tolerate spices order mild or very mild coz medium was too hot), I also had tomato soup that was great it had tarka in it first time had soup with tarka). Main course: We had chickens with chiles and onions, my finances told me it was very well cooked, it also looked great. I personally had wipers tika masala, which was very well cooked, it had perfect spices. Naans was one of the best, though too expensive for naans), I had a simple and a garlic. They served free rice. And then I had Mango-Lacy it was nice thick tasty. Bill with taxes $56. This lot of food was good for 4-5 people easy. My first experience was amazing, people are very nice. Would highly recommend."

"Ok, let me be very clear, I have been to this place quite a few times, and have been disappointed mostly.Buffet didn't hv much varietyLacks consistencyAnd service was slowBut the worst part is the manager or the guy in charge was very rude. And it's not one of instance, this happened every time I went.I would never recommend this to anyone. Will give zero star if possible. And going by the response from the owner , this shows how professional he is? You need to take feedback/critic and improve on that, hope does."

"We ordered a meal for two that included dessert. My girlfriend was hungry so we decided to ask for the dessert later. When we did ask later, the waiter gave us a dessert menu and mumbled something before smiling. We thought we were choosing a dessert, but later realized we were charged for it on the bill. I complained to the manager about the waiter's incompetence. As a result, we did not leave a tip and will not be returning to the restaurant."

"Had one of my events here. I am giving 3 stars because I was forced to buy 150 plates because the manager said there is no way he will book the venue for 100 guests only. At the end 80 people (including kids) were at this event. Our food tasted much better on the day we tasted the menu. Also didn’t follow my instructions on appetizers but it was overall not bad on the food. The staff that served at my event was good and kind. The stage was decorated well enough I think (still not sure if that worth a $1000). My husband and I talked about leaving a nice tip for the staff at all our events and we were not able to do that at this venue bc we paid so much extra on the plates for guests I didn’t have!! And we paid tips on those extra plates no body ate!! Pictures I uploaded are from the tasting not the event."

"the ambiente is welcoming and super beautiful in contrast to the other top Indian restaurant, the google in little rock suggested to be a bit dingy. we had lunch dinner 3 times in a week and our favorites are the vegetarian thali, with so much germ for $19 (no substitution allowed) 2 pieces onion pakoda, 3 sabzis (malai kofta, navratan korma, saag disc wiper), 1 naan, dal tadka, safranreis, curd raita, gulab jam on the alacarte sabzi front our favorites was veggie enjoying $16.95 (peer and kofta) that comes with a bowl rice. fried papads are free with green and tamarinden chutney. we loved the coconut kulfi desert, which was a little irony and hard to cut, but the taste made more than for them. the customer service of denzil was excellent as he understood our taste preferences and options accordingly. he was super friendly with our 3 years old."

"a few days ago (June 23rd 2021) I ordered hariyalı paneer tikka and this was supposed to be marinated in spinach based creamy sauce and what I was given was a paneer that was made in green food coloring it was awful tasting and not even cooked in the clay oven. I also ordered a kadai bhindi and this was not cooked properly with the bhindi being raw and again unpalatable. The lachha paratha was not a lachha paratha but just another fat uncooked roti which was doused in ghee. Finally the vegetable noodles has not a single vegetable except a few strands of onion. All in all a terrible meal for the $60 spent. Will never get food from this restaurant again."

"We decided to go out to dinner after reading raving reviews about this place on Yelp!. We walked in and were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is a mixture of clean, colorful modern, decor along with classic Indian artifacts. The walls and the seating reminded me of Indian spices such as roasted turmeric and green cardamoms! Very nice touch indeed! We settled down and ordered samosas for an appetizer. Each of the samosa’s crust was golden brown and not overcooked (That was a very good sign). The potato stuffing was lightly flavored and tasted great! I would definitely order that again. We ordered Saag Paneer, Daal Makhani and a basket of 4 vegetarian naans. We asked the hostess to make our food medium hot. The Daal and the Saag Paneer were very tasty but definitely needed more heat. I would have to ask them to punch it up a bit the next time I go. Our bread basket comprised of the fenugreek (methi) naan, the aloo paratha, and the hara bhara (green) naan and the pezaa naan. The first three were simply delicious. I honestly could have just had those for my meal and be completely satisfied. The pezaa naan (cheese, onions and dry fruits) was not to my liking. It tasted a bit too much of the onion. I would not be ordering that again. The two ladies that were sitting next to us happened to look over to see what we had ordered. We struck up a conversation and found out that they were regulars at this place. They too said the food here is generally served mild, which definitely needs to be spiced up! My overall recommendation is that this place is definitely worth multiple visits and think it is one of the best places to taste Indian flavors. I am even considering getting food catered from this place at my parties in the future."

"I was staying overnight in the University District and was looking for a nice dinner, but since it was late on Veterans Day, many places were closed. I stumbled upon this restaurant as I have always been a fan of Indian food. The menu had a great selection, and the waiter provided helpful suggestions. I ordered the Samosa Chat and a Salty Lassi, both of which were delicious. The Samosa Chat had a mix of textures and flavors, with a sweet and hearty curry. The Lassi was rich and flavorful, probably the best I have ever tried. The prices were reasonable. The dining area was clean, although the bathroom was a bit damp. I noticed the dark back hall where the kitchen was located and wondered about its condition. The cook was friendly and helped clean up, giving me the opportunity to chat with him. The food was presented beautifully, and the atmosphere was casual and welcoming. This restaurant was perfect for me, and I would highly recommend it for a high quality meal."

"This was our first time trying this restaurant and we were not disappointed. We ordered the Gateway appetizer which was awesome. The food quality was perfect as we ordered several different curried chicken dishes and the lamb chops. Everything came out with a fabulous presentation and all dishes were hot. The ambiance and the service was excellent. Our servers took the time to explain and answer all of our questions. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to you. One of our new favorites now..!!"
