"Beautiful hidden gem near Pike Place Market. The food was excellent and perfectly cooked, and the price was amazingly low compared to nearby restaurants. We ordered Momos, Curry and Naan. The Momos we are fresh and tasty, the curry was tasteful, Amd the Naan was fresh from the Tandoory. Just warn is for a lower spice level than you are used. We like spicy food, but even spice level 3 was something too spicy. If we're ever back in Seattle, we'll definitely be back for more delicious food."

"Usually I don't complain, but the only thing that was good was the chicken satay and crispy veggie rolls. My drunk noodle beef tasted like Chinese food meat not Thai. The chicken is the same I've never had terrible Thai food before I'll never be back. Also the mango sticky rice tasted over boiled dry and had no taste. We paid the bill and I didn't want my food to pick up the fake meat."

"I liked all the food I tried here, the Mulligitawny soup was my favorite, but the lamb Naan and lamb with onions and ginger were both tasty, the masala chai was a bit too sweet for me but otherwise on point. The fried appetizers had been sitting for a bit Ithink, they weren't fresh out of hot grease for sure and the fried chicken was dry and tough, all together its a good place toeat."

"Our first stop for food in NY. We were just walking around enjoying the sights and saw someone cleaning the sidewalk in front of their restaurant (which had us look at the menu).Walked in thinking we would pay about 20$ per person. Nah, they offered lunch special at about 12$/plate.Loved the food. I tried 3 meats and they were all delicious. Fair portions.Honestly, best lunch of our trip and it was our first stop. I would say it's almost a bad thing since it set the bar pretty high for food quality and price ratio for the rest of the trip. We're going again for dinner next time we're around for sure."

"I had a good meal in pawans. delicious food and great service. clean restaurant with personal cleaning everything including menus etc. between mozens. we felt safe and really enjoyed our meal. during this challenging time to have his great place that will bring a...bit pre-pandemic rest. have eaten in other Indian restaurants, but they lacked the cleanliness and quality of pawans. will definitely go back."

"Being on a busy street with an entrance that is not grand, certainly creates an impression that does not measure up to the dining experience you will soon have. The service, food, and atmosphere was simply incredible. We lingered through 4 courses and a bottle of wine being doted on and courted through each course by the staff in such a welcoming and attentive manner. This is a must visit while in DC. The food was beautifully presented and equally delicious."

"we had so many possibilities! I was surprised when they told me that all the sweet dishes were on the vegan buffet! and the garlic naan was also vegan. I asked twice to make sure that they knew that I meant no butter, cheese, cream etc. the whole food was delicious and I was so excited to have such a variety! updated by the previous review on 2019-12-25"

"The lamb samosas were AHMAYZING not too gamey, lots of flavor. Their mint chutney and tamarind sauce are a must with the samosas! Our butter chicken and paneer spinach dish (palak masala saag) was super flavorful and right on point. The paneer naan could use a tad more salt to bring out the paneer flavor, but very enjoyable all the same. The mango lassi was perfect. I hardly ever comment on the interior of places, but the bright orange interior leaves something to be desired; at least the lighting is mood lighting so the orange isn't tooo bad but I'd personally go with a sage green for that place. Vegetarian options: Entire section for the vegetarians Parking: If there isn't a yoga class going on across the street, there's plenty of parking along the street leading up to it Kid-friendliness: I saw kids, dunno of they have coloring menus or not"

"would give saffron a 5 stars if I could, but because it is not completely vegan the app does not allow me. we ordered from here twice and both times the food was excellent. the menu has many vegan options that are clearly marked, which is very appreciated. my man and I agree that this is some of the best Indian food we had and we have eaten a lot of Indian food. it is fresh and beautifully seasoned. we both look forward to being able to visit this place personally as soon as the dinge become better. thanks saffron!"

"The Himalayan Cafe is a wonderful authentic East Indian dining experience. Its an amazing restaurant, run by Makar Rai, who, along with his staff, is from Nepal. The food is so wonderful and authentic. The service and vibe' of the place is just right. Everything is home-made, including the great sauces and condiments. You must try the tandoori eggplant (smoky and so delicious), the saag paneer (spinach with home-made cheese), paneer dilruba (amazing tomato sauce and cheese), try the somas, the mo-mos, ohmygosh, just try everything! On Fridays there is live music at night and Saturdays they have bellydancing! Luncheon specials are a great deal. (Veg non-veg with large vegetarian menu."
