"Heard a good review about this place and decided to try it out!I must say that I placed my order around 615 p.m., and they close at 7.Placed an order over the phone for one small and one large oxtail platter with mac cheese and cabbage.I wanted yams, but they were out. My husband wanted fried chicken, but upon asking about the pieces, was told, "ABSOLUTELY NO FRIED CHICKEN! "So we ordered what we did.She made sure to inform us that they were about to close and to hurry.We were only 10 minutes away, so we arrived early. I had to wait a few minutes before it came out.I was surprised by the price because the online prices didn 't match up with what I was charged.Also, I was very confused as to why a large was $25 and a small was $23..? They both had about the same amount of food.I recently had Jamaican food that was 2x as good, 2x as much food, and almost half the price.The food was okay! Just ok!The mac cheese was in a clump, and was barely seasoned. It had plenty of cheese, though.The cabbage was the best part.The oxtails were mediocre. They were oily and had a lot of fat.I was totally underwhelmed by everything, but my husband thought it was a little better.I would say that I 'd never go back, but I 'm cutting slack since it was close to closing."
