"Came for lunch on a Monday with a party of 6. It was a little hard to find because it had a different name on the door. It was a small and cozy restaurant. I ordered the lamb pita wrap. For $8 I wish it came with fries but can't complain too much because the lamb was perfectly cooked. Sometimes lamb isn't cooked correctly and it tastes kind of gamey, but that wasn't the case here. Perfectly seasoned and tender. My family for the beef, chicken and lamb platter. I felt like the lamb in the platter wasn't as tender, the beef was a bit chewy and the chicken was perfect. I also got an almond cake for dessert and it was delicious. Overall I would come back, service was great and food was delicious and came out in a timely manner."

"A long favorite restaurant with many specials as well as fan favorites. Love the great old-fashioned wooden bar and also the “library room” with books on the wall. Food is absolute perfection we had only delicious meals here. Many vegetarian options, try the crispy sweet and sour Brussels sprouts escape. First-class wine selection and these are large glasses of wine, very generous. Always wonderful service is this a consistent 5 great stars for me!"

"A Galveston Staple when it comes to good seafood! My husband's been there since he was in college and now it's our tradition. We love sharing our records so we can try all our favorites! "I came here with my co-workers two weeks in a row to say this, but to have these burgers again! I had the brisketburger and the loretto and they were both perfectly and amazingly cooked! I also had the fries, fried pickel and potato skins and they were all so fresh and hit the place. please visit the crew in the pressebox. they give great suggestions and are so on. we will definitely come back! slc loves you!"

"we're here after a dance contest. we called ahead to let them know that there is a party of 14. it was said that there was no waiting time. we came there and were rude by the so-called manager and waited 40 minutes. they do not share the scars we had 5 different families with us. that was okay, but our waitress was great."

"it is sad to say, but my first time in this facility to eat will be my last, but not because something went wrong. it is because the owners had to close the restaurant because of a family health problem. it is sad to hear that someone is ill, and I hope that they will recover as soon as possible. I'm so sorry to eat and not enjoy the situation again. but the priorities of the owners are clearly at the right place. godspeed and I hope everyone will soon be good."

"Staff was not very attentive had to ask several times for the server it was NOT busy/crowded yet. Music was really loud for 730p. I could understand if it was 9pm and later but that seemed early to be blaring. Food was good reasonably priced. I probably would not go back for dinner seems more like a spot to grab a drink after dinner or pop in if your planning to watch a game etc."
