"Excellent food and service! High quality food with great presentation! Menu is approachable and pricing is on point. We have enjoyed Shogun many times and it's a must go for Sushi lovers! Not to worry, their Hibachi, Pad Thai and extensive menu will please everyone at your table."

"We came here one rainy Sunday afternoon, thankfully their backyard area is covered with a transparent roof and we were able to hear and see the raindrops, we found it whimsical! Since I have not had a bento box in months, I ordered it to see what is their take on it. I selected salmon teriyaki bento. They first served a veggie salad with ginger dressing followed by miso soup. The bento box came with 4 pieces of California roll, 2 pieces of fried siomai, white rice, and salmon teriyaki on a bed of mixed greens. I thought the serving was generous for $13, and it didn’t compromise the quality nor the taste. On our way out, I told our server that we will come back next weekend. With great customer service and price points, who wouldn’t?!"

"Ordnete Tempura dish for 19.95. What I got was a large bowl of dried rice with a few pieces of hard, fried vegetables and a small shrimp that obviously sat under a heat lamp. I couldn't finish it because it was just inconspicuous and chew. I politely asked the server who I could say was a young person, maybe a high student when that was normal. I saw how the server went to manager/owner/pick and asked them. The manager/owner/images, who sorted silverware, did not even look at the server and without a word the index finger, indicating that only 1 piece of shrimp were normal. It was quite unprofessional and even I felt bad for our server. Apart from the poor quality of food, high prices, this simple and short interaction I experienced, talked a lot about this place. You lost a customer in me."

"A fantastic sushi restaurant, but it depends on what you get. Creamy Seared Albacore Pepper Salmon AMAZING! They are expensive but the quality of the fish is worth it. The flavor was exceptional and very unique compared to other sushi places. Franky Roll Excellent. If you like lemon and salmon this is great. Good cuts of fish and flavor. Philadelphia Roll This had bad cuts of fish, with mostly fat and skin, with a disappointing texture and taste. Crunchy Roll Your standard Americanized roll. Good crab and shrimp. Mixed Tempura Shrimp was delightful, and the veggies were good."

"I randomly ordered an afternoon in Sushi, as I believed it decided to try Haku Sushi. I was super hungry, so I decided to get the Californian role, shrimp tempoura roll a pig fried gyoza. Usually when I order gyoza from a sushi restaurant, they are not as good as I expect. They are either boiled or simply not delicious. I was so surprised how delicious these fried gyoza were in Haku Sushi. I wish I had ordered more! The Californian role was really delicious along with the Shrimp Tempura role also. I will definitely be back!"

"A delightful sushi experience. Good food, good date spot potential. The servers were friendly and helpful. When it comes to the price to value and experience ratio, I would say it's a five-star sushi spot. Their sushi is reasonably priced compared to the quality. Quality of the fish is pretty good. I would say the plain eel cuts were not worth it, but the rest definitely was. Atmosphere was great. It has great aesthetic appeal and felt like a good place to hold a conversation. It's the type of place I can see myself bringing a girl on a date or treating some relatives and friends."

"We were driving around looking for dinner so I used OpenTable to book a reservation for 6 people for dinner. The reservation was made for a table 15 minutes from that moment (clicked at 6:45pm for reservation 7pm). Perfect... that 's the power of OpenTable. We got to the restaurant, kids in tow, and the hostess saw the reservation on their system, but then told me that I 'm not allowed to do that. I was told that I can 't book a table 15 minutes before the reservation. I pointed out that OpenTable actually allows just that... which brought me to your restaurant in the first place. When I asked what the problem was, I was told that it isn 't fair because people are waiting for tables already. I simply said that they should then update their open reservations so OpenTable doesn 't offer me a table, but the hostess told me that OpenTable doesn 't work that way and doesn 't allow them to do that. Uhm… yes it does, that 's exactly the purpose: to connect people to open reservations. I asked her is we should just wait or should we leave... she actually told me that we were better off leaving. Wow. At that point, I said fine, turned to the family and said we need to go elsewhere, but then I asked the hostess to bring out the manager so I can at least explain the frustrating experience. The manager tried telling me the same story about OpenTable, but he at least told us to stay as he would get a table very soon, which he did. Still a very frustrating experience with people whom are clearly not trained in OpenTable operation. The interaction ruined my mood for the family dinner, so hope that it doesn 't happen to others. I 'll avoid the restaurant now."

"We’ve visited Chinatown before enjoyed great eating, but this was the best. Occupying the second floor we had magnificent views of the area. But nothing could compare with the food!! We had four different lunch combinations and each was superb- based on our sharing. Do not miss this gem of a restaurant! Wonderful staff."

"With the husband and I, we decided we would sample with a variety of items on the menu, Ckn fried rice Beef yakisoba Katsu ramen Special dynamite roll Every item absolutely smashed our expectations, which were all set pretty high as it was. The rice tasted like fresh hibachi, chicken seared and shredded. The yakisoba was perfectly rich vinegary, a little sweet. The ramen's broth was almost yolky, full of flavor on its own in a way I'd never experienced, with noodles that picked up every tone. The tonkatsu was so rich and fatty. The dynamite roll, wow. It came to us boiling hot, every little bit of sauce caramelized the entire dish. Less of a baked roll, more of like a rich, tangy, sweet casserole worthy of far more than they charge. The cherry on top was having a check balance barely breaking $60. From the service, speed of preparation, quality and taste of food, and price, there were no complaints we could come up with. We will be back."

"This sushi is literally the best sushi I have ever had. The salad and miso soup are absolutely amazing as well, but most of the sushi rolls come with special sauce which is this sweet syrup like sauce, and it makes every roll 10x better. The rice and fish are also top quality as well. I honestly couldn't imagine myself wanting to go to any sushi place other than this one anymore"

"Delicious!! Waitress is so on top of everything! Food came fresh and quick. She checks in with you and is super friendly!! Tempura is the bomb, chicken teriyaki is great and their salad dressing is the BEST!! You must try the spicy karage(appetizer)... it's chicken that is slightly sweet and slightly spicy. I'm a wimp and don't eat spicy... this was the perfect amount of spice!!"

"I really enjoy the food here. My family and I usually get the Cali bento, which has a good variety of food as well as a generous serving chicken katsu, chicken teriyaki, tempura veggies, rice, steamed cabbage, and California rolls. The California rolls are consistently not to our liking, but that's probably just us. Also, their spicy chicken teriyaki is pretty good. A bit on the sweeter side and not spicy enough for me, I'd say maybe 2 out of 5 on the spiciness.Otherwise, we really enjoy getting food their.Parking: The restaurant is located among several other businesses that share the lot. Getting in and out sucks and the parking can be sparse when the area is busy. Of course they can't control the parking situation. Just be aware if it is your first time there."

"definitiw more from a doorbag factory or place to go when it is late and they are drunk starving. we ended here bc it was Sunday night at 9 o'clock and other sushi places were closed. the staff was very nice, but the sushi was quite terrible. dry rice, grittiger unagi, lack of seasoning. the prices were for 2 persons, a beer, moderate 80. I would definitely recommend somewhere else (and eat before) if they want a nice meal."
