"We arrived at the restaurant for our reservation, but there was no server present, which left us puzzled about the lack of service. When we informed the hostess that we wanted to order food, she directed us to a different area and assured us that someone would assist us soon. We ended up waiting an extended period for a table before finally catching the attention of a staff member, who promised that someone would be with us shortly. After waiting another 15-20 minutes, we had to go find someone ourselves. Once we had a waitress, she was very friendly, but the service remained slow, from drinks to food. Unfortunately, the meal was not as good as during our last visit, and we left feeling quite disappointed."

"Went for breakfast for the first time, can’t speak to the food because after we were seated and greeted pleasantly we watched our server in training in the open kitchen 5 feet away…with his finger in his mouth, picking his back teeth…he then wiped his finger on his pants and immediately came to take our order. I had to address it as this is not sanitary obviously and watched to see what he would do…after he took our order he just kept on working. I then told the waitress who was standing with him at the time and I assume training him while he picked his teeth and she apologized, said she didn’t see him do this and not to worry that she just sent him on break ??? I informed her that he’s not on break, he’s passing out plates right behind us. The restaurant space is a small square, you can see the entrance, all tables and kitchen at the same time. Told them to cancel our order and left. We always want to support small businesses, mom and pop places especially. I hope they address this immediately so it doesn’t cost them more business. We’re human, you’re going to rub your eyes and scratch your ear but wash your hands. Hands in your mouth and then carry on? In a restaurant? Hell no."

"Twenty/two is not our favorite place. the menu is not interesting. place looks like cafeteria not raised restaurant. but the price is in the area of the raised restaurant. eating is too expensive and not good. we tried the restaurant three times before and after the kovid and hope it will be improved. this time tried the Thanksgiving Experience menu. I hope it would be better than advertising. very disappointed. still poor food quality and overprice."

"Iron Barley is an absolute gem of an eating establishment in the Jefferson County area. When I have friends/family in from out of town, this is where I take them. Scratch made everything, excellent micro-beer selection, all at fair prices. Their events, many of which proceeds go to various charities- are incredible. I sincerely hope they stay here in High Ridge."

"Delicious food and quick service! Really loved the ambiance in this place and the decor was beautiful too! We got the prefix multiple course meal which comes me more than enough to eat!! Also ordered the beet/apple/kale juice which is SO good!! The only negative thing was that the waitress became hostile and made it obvious she wanted us to leave at the end. We were only there for an hour and had food/drinks the entire time so not sure why the attitude. Possibly was getting close to dinner time or something, but still, tarnished an otherwise great experience."

"We were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with our meals. We ordered a Pulled Chicken Plate 28.99) and a Combo Plate 36.99) Ribs, Brisket and Smoked Turkey. All the Meats served with my platter was EXTREMELY DRY!!!....it was as if they reheated the overnight Meats too long and served it to us. Not very much flavors between the 3 Meats other than the taste of BURNT BarBQue on the brisket which was dominant. The cornbread served as a side was HUGE, DRY with again, very little flavor and did not taste like Corn Bread. I tired my wife's pulled chicken Plate and it was DISGUSTING and she did not eat everything!!! Our food ticket bill was $72.22 and the only item purchased that was very GOOD was a bottle of water. If I cld rate the food received at a lower scale they wld DEFINITELY deserve it!!!Save your time and money as consumers and try other food options other than ordering food from David Sons BBQ!!!"

"The crust was good and the sauce was good. I have a few criticisms: There was an insane amount of LARGE chunks of red onion. Practically every bite was like biting into a red onion. Also, i love Daiya cheese, but I think a firmer vegan cheese would have worked better in this context. Maybe violife? Obviously I am not an expert, just my opinion. Also, with spinach being listed as an ingredient, I expected spinach to actually be more prevalent... maybe balance the amount of red onion with spinach? I would not go out of my way to get this again. There are many more preferable vegan pizza options in Seattle."

"Ok Anna, was a wonderful waitress. We had out drinks asap! She should definitely train other people. Best service in years at Sonny's. Our food was hot and hot the spot! Strawberry spike drink was great 9/10 needs a little more kick. Sauce !!! The real reason I do the BBQ reviews. Sizzlin 9.7 Sweet 10 Pick 3 combo!! So much meat. SALAD! So big and yummy ranch. Ranch smoked ranch spicy seasoning very good. TELL ANNA THANK YOI FOR MAKING OUT SHORT STAY FEEL BERY SPECIAL. Wow some of the best sauce even for a larger joint. I really always dig Sonny's but the sauce has definitely improved. $36 bucks me and my wife had a solid meal. Great local Sonny's with awesome service."

"Simply awesome! This Greek owned restaurant/bar is quaint but has a lot to offer, a large variety of beers and tantalising food!<br/ <br/ I got the 'award winning ' gyro burger that had slab of feta cheese which really stood out for me, I can see why it won at award of some sort. The fries had the skin on, the best way to have them. Each bite of the burger was like an explosion of awesomeness. <br/ The wife went for her favourite, bbq wings with range dressing. Now I have to say, it was my first time having range dressing and it was amazing! I dipped my fires in there, amazing. I dipped my burger in there, amazing. I even dipped in my finger and it was amazing! <br/ <br/ The decor has a bar feel to it. The tables are decked with the usual sauces and a roll of kitchen towels which was a winner based on how messy it might get. <br/ <br/ Overall I enjoyed the food and the ambience of restaurant. A definite recommendation."

"My boyfriend asked me if there were any small diners in town as we drove through East Peoria. So, I pulled out my handy phone and went to Google: “small diners in East Peoria”. June’s was the first that popped up, with 300+ reviews and over 4 stars, it sounded promising and we liked their menu, so we drove over to check it out! I don’t usually try new places, but I’m glad I did. June’s is easy to spot with the flashing light board outside. Greeted when we came in, and told to pick a seat! They had a full house, which usually means happy customers! Menu had nice variety and breakfast here all day, but their hours are only 5 2p. Still not bad! The decor inside is cute, clean bathrooms with hot and cold water which are neatly taken care of. Great staff, food didn’t take long to make and it came out fresh and delicious! The gravy was a bit bland, but still good with a little added salt, and I just ate it with my skillet breakfast which was SO GOOD. Definitely makes me feel at home here, and seems to be kept busy by hungry, but satisfied customers! Our waitress, Virginia, was great! PLUS they have paper straws here! Awesome!"

"One of the reasons we wanted to eat at the Ice House BBQ is that it is one of the only restaurants that is dog friendly on Mackinac Island. We have been here several times (the last time in 2019) and the restaurant moved from the cabana type area in the front to outdoor seating under umbrellas in the rear of the restaurant. We were the first ones to arrive around 11:00 am and the restaurant opens at 11:30 am. We spoke to a gentleman who was assigning tables (I believe) to the waitstaff as I was curious about the new design of the restaurant. He was so friendly and is pictured in one of the photographs. Thank you to this man because several people tried to cut the cue and he remembered us and still placed us first to be seated. You had to scan the QR code to see the menu. We ordered the onion rings at $15 as a shareable hors-d’œuvre and as the main entrée we both ordered the Chipotle Black Bean Burger at $16 each. We also ordered two ice teas at $3 each. The food came out hot! We liked the onion rings probably the best. The burger came out with homemade chips. We got free refills on our ice tea. Our waiter was so friendly, fast and even helped me answer a question about what was playing on Pandora. It was a song by Fleetwood Mac. He actually went back in to find out the song for me...wasn’t that incredible? The music was relaxing. The atmosphere and ambiance was spot on until a table of children were placed near us. There was a Cornhole Toss board outside to play while you waited. The walk up to the restaurant is steep for those with any knee or leg issues. The one stall bathroom was inside by the hotel pool and sadly was without toilet paper. The prices were a bit higher than you might expect, but were well worth it for the food and overall experience."

"My husband and I always split the order of baby back ribs 2 sides....just the perfect about for us. Our server as usual was most accommodating and our food was delicious. Sometimes we splurge if we are extra hungry and get the Red Neck Egg rolls....special tasty treat. Since moving to Florida this has become our go to barbeque spot!!!"

"try the maple vanille bean latte! that's the best coffee drink I've had for a long time. it is with real vanilla bean and is the smoothest tasting latte around. absolutely delicious and already a little sweet with its maple syrup supplement. 10/10 it's longing. the biscuits were naturally fluffy and big, it is just a question of choice with which they want to eat it. I decided to hurry and throw with the engraving on the side. quite together a really filling eating, but note that the gravy has a kick to him! I'm glad I got it on the side! also the sausage is completely open. still an absolutely wonderful meal and experience. sitting outdoors available."

"This Sonny's is a great location. The staff is always beautiful. I was not a fan of Sonny’s for a long time, but I think they updated their recipes lol. The chicken actually had taste. At this point I first tried the smoked turkey sandwich I'm sorry I didn't all give you a photo of, but it was made perfect. I suggest adding Cole Slaw to him. Whatever I will say, the Koleslaw is very good. My second trip I tried the grill salad and added chicken. It was wonderful. My Togo sever JohnAlex was polite and made sure that my order was properly repaired. Five launches for my experience"
