"The service here was excellent! I would recommend this restaurant alone. The location was nice and the food was pretty good. The maize fritters were my favorite, it came with about 8 of them and I would definitely recommend to try them if you don't mind a little spice. The BBQ was pretty good, not much smoke taste, and not on a Kansas City level, but for Michigan I would say it's worth a try. The white fish dip could be a bit more zing, but otherwise was great! The portions are big, so you definitely don't get hungry!"

Really happy with the meal here. Huge portion sizes and the meat was smoked well. Brisket and ribs had a small flavor deviation as your typical bbq, but the delicate quality of the meat was the winner

Our best eating experience on Mackinac Island! The food was fantastic (jalapeno Cornbread was amazing, so pork and black bean burger were pulled). I visited during the annual Lilac Festival and they had a lilac sangria cocktail special. All right!

The outdoor area was very nice and the service was ok. The smoked chicken half was small, bland and a little dry. The corn bread and Koleslaw were good, but the beans were blande. The fried white fish was great with 2 large thick pieces and light bread. The peach pony was good with a very light and airy kicker.
