"The place was nice and cozy. The vegan wings were very good but Massaman curry spice level 4 was just “okay”. We have had better and more flavorful Massaman curry and their spice level didn’t even feel like 4/5. The curry needed little more salt and better balance between sweet and spicy. Tiramisu cake was better than what we expected. Overall it was a good experience."

"Tried their Boat noodles with pork and with beef, as well as their Thai fried rice with Chinese sausages. I love the broth of their boat noodles the best when I compared it other Thai restaurants that I visited. Their broth is on lighter side (not as thick or as strong and fatty as other places) but still very savory. The veggies in the broth are fresh and still crunchy (not soggy as result of letting the veggies sit in the broth for along time). I prefer pork slices to their beef slices, since the pork slices are more tender. Their Thai fried rice is excellent as well. Overall, it is a very good value in terms of price and serving portion"

"A decent place for noodles and sushi! The special rolls were tasteful and each piece delivered a unique taste. The fish also seemed fresh. The raven is definitely not bad, but for me the broth was a little bland. I really liked the cha su pork it was tender and seasoned well. The green tea fried ice cream is fantastic. Crab Rangoon was decent. A beautiful, crispy bite with good filling. I think they were a little overpriced for the crowd we were serving. Overall a pretty good place! Will definitely return to try more from their menu items."

"What a gem! Solid Thai and excellent every time. They have genuine blue fin on the sushi bar for a great price. Wonderful! Such a solid restaurant. Coconut soup is the best in the city. Shrimp dumplings were terrific. Curry sauces were perfectly spiced and delicious. Spring roles were crispy and not greasy. Chicken satay was delightfully light, crispy and paired with a perfect chutney sauce that highlighted the chicken flavor. What a treasure of a restaurant!"

"This is our family’s favorite Thai food restaurant. The food is always good. A lot of their business is take-out, so it’s never hard to get a table. The atmosphere is super chill with not-too-loud ambient music. They have happy hour daily, and once or twice a week they have a live music set in the evening. Their lunch specials are a great value. Servers are always super polite. And since it’s upstairs with lots of windows, you have a great view of the neighborhood. It’s really a gem.Vegetarian options: Almost any dish can come without meat so it’s super easy to have vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: We always bring our kiddo and the restaurant is really chill so it’s not hard to have a kid there.Parking: The lot in front is pretty tight usually but the lot in back is always available. We’ve never had trouble with parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator to reach the second floor."

"Big fan of Modern Thai on Polk St! I've taken two good college friends here and we always have a blast. It's a good location walking-distance to a few concert venues and bars. They have a pretty good takeout business but I've only eaten inside. Would recommend the pad thai, beef noodle soup (and other soups--very good broth and a nice amount of meat! , fresh spring rolls (especially with shrimp! , and Thai Iced Tea! Service is prompt and fun."

"after a few days off in a row of here happy to eat, this week was best disappointed. before the bartender shawn waited for us, it was a pleasure. he knows clearly what he does, what we felt very welcomed. this time we thought the bar was a drink before dinner. I asked for happy hour prices, was said that one of the special drinks was not included (although it was the previous week) so I ordered a drink with 2 fruit juices. I was not told that this was not priced for happy hour. then a manager type was consulted with the bartender and finally I was calculated for a special drink the full price. I did not accept this and it was finally corrected (after an unstoppable long wait) but it seemed as if they were ignorant of customer service, totally confused, or thought they could have a local mozen, the interest in happy hour awards. what a shame that it showed so bad judgment over the management part. then dinner this time, regular waiting staff was slow, deorganized, not inviting. Yeah, that was still good, but not the experience. very sad the service management was a real shutdown."

I have just finished this review and still written, but I will get out and. omelet back to order a Thai tee to experience the experience immediately!. OJ L 347, 20.12.2013, p. 1.)"

"I went to Thai Luck for lunch with a coworker. This place is small with 4 to 5 tables. It's an intimate and cozy place to eat and chat with company. We ordered green curry with chicken and salmon salad they were delicious. The Thai dumplings soup were not exactly dumplings more like large size sui mai and salty for my taste. Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere and food I ordered. The server was very nice too."

"Thaism is my favorite takeout spot, and this was my first time dining in. The restaurant is adorned with flowers on the ceiling and walls, creating a calm and lovely atmosphere. Despite not receiving our Google reservation, the staff was very accommodating to our large group of 9. I tried the Thai Chive Pancakes and the Panang Curry. The Chive Pancakes were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, making them my favorite. I have tried the Pad Thai and various curries before, but the Panang Curry stood out as my preferred choice with its excellent flavor and generous portion size. I would recommend bringing cash when visiting, as there is a 3.9% credit card fee. Thaism will continue to be my top choice for dining out, and I am excited to return soon."
