"We were guests in the hotel, so we patronized a few times. Once for dinner. The chicken was wonderful. My husband refuses to eat any pickled item, and he love the cucumbers! Our waiter was so friendly, just loved him! We were in the lounge a few times during our stay. One waiter was a bit curt, but was prompt. Another bartender was fantastic, so friendly to everyone in our group. Was nice to sit in the air conditioning while it was so hot during our stay and just watch the people pass as we enjoyed our drinks."

"My meal did come with my room plan but it was pricey for especially for kids. The gratuity included was unnecessary. I tip well and I don't like to it included in your bill. Tipping is for the patron to decide that is why it is called a tip. You should not have to tip 15% or more to a waiter if you get a buffet and all that they do is bring you drinks and clean your dishes off. I would definitely give more if I ordered off the menu."

"It needs a renovation. Seriously. And it needs blackout curtains. Sun streaming in at 6.45-7am WILL WAKE YOU UP. The WiFi comes and goes. We have gotten msgs that there are too many users. : . "the breakfast buffet was easy. I liked the cheese and top selection, but it was almost as if everything that was cooked for tomorrow was it (i.e. nobody came out to fill up earthy and saw the egg to sit for a bit.) if the price was lower, I would give these five stars, but simply did not see the worth in it and had spent $70 on something else inside and a bagel. the location and view of the dining room are very beautiful."

"Driving up to this hotel, you question the good reviews and the photos. It looks like an abandoned apartment building. Very dated. The hotel is clearly in the beginning stages of a remodel. They seem to need the business to help pay for it. The loby was nice and clean and the staff was super nice.Our room #200 for two adults with a king bed had fresh paint. I am assuming newer furniture, but it was pretty beat up. The linens were thin, and bedspread was dated. The carpet was very stained. Have flip flops on hand. The bathroom was painted, and the cabinet and shower title looked newer, but the sink and tub were skipped. The tub was stained. There was a window unit. It kept the room cool. We had a view of the lake and the pool.The lake is not accessible. There is a pool off to the side in a field? Pool access is to walk out the front door, through the parking lot, and across the grass through construction tape. It has weird hours. It looked clean and had chairs but no umbrellas. No shade.The bar is only open early in the week.Behind the hotel they had a firepit with Adirondack chairs that looked nice. No access from the back of the hotel.The gym was across from our room. Basic needs covered.The area is a business park, but if you walk down a quarter mile or so, there is a nice park. Nice neighborhood with many people out enjoy the day walking and jogging.We stayed two nights. No maid service. Not a room to hang out in. Just sleep. This is a one night get in late sleep and get back to the road trip.If you are picky this may not be the hotel for you.Room was clean and safe.No frills and no breakfast."

"Great option in this very nice resort, we had breakfast here once only due to having an early appointment, but during our visit we checked the breakfast options and we were really happy with what they have, a great selection of breads and pastries, omelet station, fruit, eggs , potatoes, everything well prepared, not in an industrial way like in some hotel chain places, everything was home prepared. The service was quick and friendly and we like the Nitro Coffee and the fresh squeezed OJ...and the honey comb detail is a nice option visually and dietary... Enjoy your breakfast"
