"The whole staff here is excellent. Especially Tamera in the evening. She is so wonderful. The location is great. And the people who work here really care about this hotel.The one thing I have to say is Karen is the worst human.I think I’ve ever met.I think she should get a different job for someone who takes her job, so seriously they are absolutely horrible at accommodating someone who is disabled.She is rude, she might be racist and all along just not a decent human being.If you took her out of the mix, this would be a five star rating.And to visitors. Beware of Karen she is awful.."

It's perfectly fine! The location may seem a bit odd at first, but the actual rooms are lovely. I suspect it's just an old building. Well kept, doesn't smell, no bugs (unlike other places I've stayed). If you get a room with a water view, you may hear a few quacks from the ducks in the morning. For the price, it's a pretty good place to stay!

We talked to John. We told him we had a service dog . He then proceeded to say that we needed a certificate.I showed him the ADA website showing him that there are NO certificates for service animals and what he was doing was illegal. He couldn’t turn us away. However, did anyway! The Ada will be notified and you will most likely get a fine! Enjoy that!

Honestly in hindsight I can’t believe I slept here. The bed was comfortable but the room smelled strongly like secondhand smoke and mold to the point where breathing deeply felt unhealthy. The sheets were stained, gum stuck to the bedside table, fruit flies crawling around, thin walls. I did a cursory check for bedbugs and found nothing but now seeing other comments I wish I’d been more thorough. Made it out largely unscathed but will not be returning anytime soon.
