"The restaurant is an old, restored, somewhat original, rustic house on a dam. It also serves as an excursion hall. The toilets are also a bit rustic and I didn't pick up the day myself. A colleague was not very enthusiastic. When leaving the place, it smells very unpleasant at the door to the Toliette rooms. I'd say there's not enough ventilation in the basement. The ambience was very nice on the day, it was all decorated Christmas. The menu was extensive and contains something for every taste. I don't know if she changes more often. The guests were mixed the day and several Christmas celebrations took place. The staff was nice, but obviously not very interested in how the dishes arrived at the guests. I wasn't asked if I had a taste. Food: As an appetizer lobster cream soup. Tastefully okay, but no highlight and unfortunately only lukewarm. As the main course stone butter, which was cooked according to the menu in the oven. He came in aluminum foil on a vegetable bed. The fish was cooked. Since he was only lying on the vegetable bed, to which he first did not approach, he was quite tasty. The fish itself did not seem to be seasoned at all. The supplements came only after the fish stood before me for about 10 minutes. In time, the others were served at the table, the ordered dishes. There were dill potatoes that were salted too little according to my taste and also the lobster sauce was very faded. Also the previous lobster cream soup was better. The much too small stone butter that was on the vegetable bed as a whole was not enough to satisfy a normal appetite. In addition, one had neither space nor an additional plate to professionally free the entire stone bump from the head with main bone and tail. The menu could not be seen before, which is a whole, rather small stone butter. Because the weight indicator could have been filets. Our office had ordered all dishes in advance, so it was unfortunately not possible to inquire about the individual dishes and preparations beforehand. I hate cooked or damped fish. Looking back, I learned from others that I hadn't ordered a fish there. All the others were satisfied with their meat dishes. The dessert, crèpe in orange caramel sauce was quite appealing even if the sauce was not very caramel. I drank the day of the Heidelberg Christmas beer, which was very tasty and was immediately reserved. I visited the restaurant once in summer after a walk around the Glörtalsperre. I just drank coffee there and ordered a waffle. The waffle was missing the ice, even if desired it was no longer refilled. The service was not overlooked on the terrace, although many guests were sitting there. I have heard from a neighbour who was even more open, that is unfortunately not constant the quality of food. I don't know if I'll eat there again. But in any case no more fish. The food was too expensive for the bad quality. In addition, I expect to get tired as it is not a star place. How was the greeting? "General For lunch on Sunday our Hagen friends at the Restaurant Haus Kehrenkamp had reserved a table for 4 people. Over the years we have often returned with them. For example, family celebrations of our friends. In my RK period I could give the restaurant good notes in my recite. When we arrived there on time at 13:00 we were amazed at the many free parking spaces in front of and next to the house. In previous visits we were glad to get a free parking lot. Our Balkan specialist, Mr Bernie-Bo, also returns from time to time and documents his satisfaction here on our portal. After entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a medium-year operation and led to the table, which is reserved at the window of the large guest room with a view into the beer garden. At the weather was a pleasant place, because through the door the beer garden always opened a lukewarm little fan. Amazingly, I immediately realized where at our last visits there was always a great proximity to the guests, today a covered but empty tables were clearly overwhelmed. If this document is a downtrend, I went straight through my head. A service was enough to serve guests in the room. The extensive menus were already on the table. The lady who led us to the table asked our drinks shortly after. Since our friend was the driver and I had to push our car back home in the early evening, nothing else was left to order soft drinks. The friends chose a soft warsteiner (0,33-l bottle, 3,50 € , Cola, (0,3 l, 2,50 € , Treasure and I preferred the alcohol-feeie wheat from Erdinger (0.5 l bottle, 3,50 €). All drinks were served quickly and nicely cold, already in the glass. After that, our food requests were accepted. We were told that the salad must be put together on the buffet itself. That was clear to us, so it was always at our previous visits. Sweet salad from the buffet between salad and main dish, each one of us was wordless served a cup of soup. Whether a duty or a greeting from the kitchen? I don't know. Before the soup When we finished eating, the service came back to the table and had a small dessert on the tray for anyone who was put on the table without a word. I think it's mandatory. After we had eaten our main dishes and the question was whether it tasted us, my friend replied politely yes. Then the dishes were taken from the table. Somehow the service seemed joyful this day. It's a way not to do more than you need. 2.5* are still quite distributed. Here you have it again, the menu with an estimated hundred dishes, large selection, all Balkan classics, German cuisine, international specialties, fish etc. Since we have breakfast with our friends tomorrow morning, it shouldn't be too big portions, which is almost always the case with a croat. After all, a cake had to be crushed in the afternoon before our home trip. So the ladies chose the lady plate (9,90 €). The plate is really very clear. Two small medallions, some fried dead, hard to cut with the knife just to chew a bit, easy edible. The Klecks Sauce wasn't exactly the Bringer. The croquettes (TK were too dark. Decoration: on a salad leaf an ice-cold champignon head with an undefined cream on it and as an i-tip a red currant. Decoration and parts of meat remained on the plate. That was nix for our ladies. It wasn't much better for the gentlemen. Toast Singapore (11,90 €) was our two choices. Toast Singapore A Rumpsteak with pineapple and baked cheese. On the berries. I always want to eat. It's just right if it's a small part. But today a mistake. The toast discs were burned at the corners, otherwise very pink. The Rumpsteak estimated 120 g fried, with tendons, hard to chew. It was edible cut in small pieces with cheese and pineapple pieces. The same decoration as on the lady plate. They stayed too. The soup was nix. The broth reminded me of hot water. The few fat eyes couldn't get that impression. No taste, no spice, nothing. The few pieces of vegetables inside also saved nix. After two spoons the soup plates remained standing. The ladies didn't even try them. Dessert served after dinner was still best, but I had no desire to take a photo. In the glass mousse ou chocolat with vanilla sauce. That every tasty endurance still 2.5* PS: For the mother of our friend, who can no longer leave the house, they have ordered on their desire to take pork larder with late zle and sauce. The Doggy bag was handed over to you on payment. At home then disappointment. Pommes without sauce were present instead of late zle with sauce. The ambience as you know from many Balkan restaurants. My conclusion As already mentioned, we have eaten there several times. Always satisfied. Either a weak day of the kitchen or we chose the wrong dishes! And also the service was not as we used to. Therefore my overall impression: 2 – hardly again (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – when it comes back, 4 – again happy, 5 – absolutely again"
