"We were looking for a place that had gluten-free dairy free and for myself sodium free dining. Well that’s very hard to come by. We came across a place called good beet in a quaint little town called Haddon Heights New Jersey, when we first walked in the place it was very clean, very inviting the furniture is High quality seating, the tables were very unique looked like they’ve been cut out of a tree. They have an excellent selection of vegan items. We ordered a better burger, which is a Portabella mushroom and ground walnut burger with fresh sliced Jersey tomatoes, Boston bib lettuce, and it had a sort of thousand island sauce on there that was excellent. It also had sliced homemade pickles that were very good. the bun itself gluten-free was also very good. they also had a coconut bacon, BLT, and I thought to myself coconut bacon. Wow never had that it was delicious. It was crispy textured like bacon with a slight coconut taste. This also had lettuce, tomatoes, avocado spread on it and gluten-free bread. Both sandwiches were very pleasing all the ingredients went well together. My lady had ordered a mud water latte which consisted of mushroom coffee, turmeric, walnut, maple, milk, and vanilla syrup. Everything was vegan. This was served in a cool little coffee cup it had southwestern colors, and it Ridged edges around the outside. It looked like it was made in a kiln. The coffee was very pleasing although my lady ordered it I couldn’t help myself from taking sips of hers. I believe the pricing is in line with other places that serve this kind of fare approximately $12-$15 per sandwich. The latte was around $6.50 very nice people a great experience we will return in the near future."
