"Since our first visit in 2015, we have visited the Richtershof 4 – 5 times. The reason is obvious: it is always good and harmonious. Ambiente, Service, Essen never disappointed us. You always like to come. So time for an update! On this sunny Sunday in August there was also a place in the beautiful garden for us without reservation. This hotel’s restaurant area is run under the name “Remise”. The choice of space was still difficult. Due to the already deep sun, the abundant parasols offered little coverage. Simple and practically the glass tables in the outside area, only unfortunately the glass plates also heat up unpleasantly. We then found a shady place, and the young service employee handed us the menus. 1 bottle of Gerolsteiner mineral water, 0.75 l to raised € 7.50. Alcohol-free and refreshing aperitif “Green Garden” € 4.50. While we devoted ourselves to the menu, our well-cooled drinks were served. Little later then still fresh bread with airy fresh cheese cream. Little greeting I chose the appetizer salad Richtershof. Colorful leaf salads and raw food of the season with cranberries, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, shepherd cheese and fruity raspberry dressing € 8.90. Not for the first time I ordered this colorful salad with the fine raspberry dressing and was also not disappointed this time. My husband decided as an appetizer for the red cloves from olive oil, chilli, garlic, olive tomato € 15,90. After serving, the shrimps already had a great crust animal aroma. The shrimps on the point, inside still slightly glassy, cooked. Very good olive oil, garlic was not saved. A very good summery start. Bread, which really always tastes excellent here, was added to the appetizers. In the evening sun we waited for our main foods. The friendly service staff served them after a suitable waiting period. Ragout from the local vine, with cranberry and pear, fried pifferlings and bread run € 21,90. For me a 2017 Riesling from the grey slate, dry from the winery Leo Fuchs, Mosel, 0.2 l € 7.60. The ragout in the separate bowl was classically prepared and well tasted. The bread run inside nicely loose, fried from outside again briefly. Very suitable for the Ragout. Semmelknödel different! The seedlings of very good quality. The classic: pear filled with cranberries. But the pear in a miniature version, I liked it very well. In the deep plate my husband was served: á la cream with bread run, green asparagus and tomato € 16.90. My husband chose the fine-hearted Rosé from Moselweingut Ludger Veit, 0.2 l € 6.50. My husband was very happy with his court. Also here discreet, but very well tasted. The seedlings still nice in the bite. Only, but not insignificant, criticism: The bread riser went literally under and softened in the cream sauce. Pfifferlinge á la Creme mit Brotauflauf There it would have been nice to serve the pifferlings also in a separate bowl. The young service employee wanted to pass our “Tipp” to the kitchen. That was a nice end of the weekend. We were kindly approved, went to the home trip and like to come back!"
