"What happened to the Novalis? Previously a very good address in the otherwise bleak region around Göttingen, one has now reached a very low gastronomic level. The menu for 95 Euro is so tasteless and inconvenient that you may feel already zoomed. No amuse-bouche on the way and no other, which would make the evening and the overall impression somehow special. You get the impression that after the loss of the Michelin star, the pressure to the maximum power is obviously out. Now only the prices from the upper league have remained, but the food is underground. No one of the 5 courses was really tasty and visually everything was a complete failure of the kitchen. Putting something on the table for 95 euros is a nausea. In the end, another dessert shows that you don't want to be here again. After many years of fidelity, this was our definitely last visit to Novalis."
