"I love this place! As a vegetarian, it can be difficult to find exciting things to eat at sushi restaurants but that could not be farther from the truth here. They have a large variety of vegetarian sushi rolls and vegetarian appetizers, all of which have been absolutely delicious. I have ordered take out from here a few times and I am never disappointed. I crave their tofu and sweet potato rolls all the time! My fiancee, who is a meat and fish eater, also loves this restaurant."

"I had made a reservation for my brothers birthday with the parents and his wife. Our server didn’t mention anything about it. The service was very slow. It took a crazy long time to get our drinks and our server, while nice, didn’t check on us very often. We had wanted more drinks and dessert and that took a minute and then when ready for the check we waited almost 30 minutes. At this point the restaurant was pretty empty so I’m not sure what was going on. The menu offerings were very limited and very few veggie or fish options (no salmon, shrimp, pasta, etc). There was a very bright light above the table that was blinding. The manager turned it down a bit but it was still very distracting. It gave me quite a headache. The food overall was cooked well and tasted good. The cocktails and wine were also good. I expected a little more overall for the price."

"One of my favorite restaurants, Cheesecake Factory has a wide range of food and drink options and the service here has always been amazing. At this visit we got the grilled chicken and avocado club, fish tacos, and a slice of the classic basque cheesecake, which is a creamy and delicious burnt-top cheesecake. Portion sizes do run fairly large here, but it is easy tosplit main courses among family and friends. The only downside is that this location tends to get very busy during peak hours,and wait times can go up to one hour. As a reference, we went around 1 PM and had a 20 minute wait, but we have previously goneat 4 pm and it took an hour to be seated. I do think the wait is worth it, and I believe CF now takes reservations online sothat is worth checking out if you dont want to risk a wait. Regardless, they do send you a message on your phone when your tableis ready, and you are given a serving of brown and white bread with butter while you wait for your food to come out. I alsorecommend their Impossible Burger, their vegan option, as it tastes amazing too. Overall highly recommend as the service,ambience, and food are all great."

"NEWEST UPDATE 8 3 23: We did try Masala again, and ordered all VERY mild, but their level of spice is just too much for us. Very good food, but too spicy for our palate, so for those who like that, it 's great food! : UPDATE And now, this was the fastest owner response to a complaint we 've ever had! The owner called me approx 1.5 hours after I called in to tell them about the spice level problem, and apologized profusely. He hadn 't even read this review yet. He is refunding our money, said the kitchen mixed up our order with another who wanted medium plus , he has new staff, and so yes, we WILL try them again. He could not have been more apologetic or nicer, and so I will update this review once more after we order mild in the future, and get to EAT mild . : Fastest review turnaround I 've ever done. Ordered at 10:51 a.m. today, it was ready by 11:04, we finished tasting at 11:25. There is VERY little chicken in the korma maybe 4 little pieces and the rest sauce. Both the aloo gobi and the korma were ordered Mild , and BOTH dishes are far too spicy for us to eat. The just over $30 for small portions of overly spiced food is now in the trash. And when we called back to ask if a mistake had been made, as we could not eat their food, the woman answering the phone didn 't seem to care AT ALL. This was our first and now LAST time ordering food from this restaurant."

"I make a point to come to Big Tommy's every time I'm in town. They have authentic Greek food, just like my mom makes. Be sure to try the Avgolemono (lemon chicken rice soup, it is phenomenal! Also, my husband enjoys the Sunday brunch buffet breakfast meats, omelette station, pastries, fruits, salad, Greek specialties, and countless other items. Seriously a GREAT deal for under $15. Wish they would open a location in Milwaukee. (Hint, hint!"

"Found this place just close to our home, and my wife and I decided to give it a shot yesterday. It was a great decision. The food and desserts were great. Our waitress was nice bright. The owner even came by and asked if we like the food. It was a good experience and very sure we will be back soon to try other menu. Glad it is close to us too."

"Splendid offerings, and accommodating servers and sushi chefs, preparing something my husband remembered from nearly 20 years ago that isn't explicitly on the menu. I highly recommend the Escolar Ceviche as an appetizer. Each menu item we ordered was exquisite, with moments of amazement over flavor-packed inclusions (like pomegranate seeds topping sushi roll pieces)! Find some great friends to join you at the table and make a great evening at Shiro! <Also of note: they had tables spaced more than sufficiently apart, adhered to face mask guidelines, and also had a contact tracing form for table guests to complete. They are maintaining high standards for safety!"

"I had a poor experience at this restaurant. We waited for over 25 minutes to be seated, and then waited even longer to be acknowledged. It took an hour for us to place our order, and almost 40 minutes after that to receive our food. The meals were served at different temperatures, and the tables were not properly cleaned between guests. Despite there being other customers, the service was slow and overall it was a terrible experience."

"I have been dining at some of the finest restaurants most of my life. This New Years Eve dinner at Steve Rocky's is now the finest #1 dinner I have ever had. The service was outstanding. The food though is the best I have ever had. Sturgeon is a delicacy very rare to find on a menu, they had it tonight. Compliments to the chef. Best prepared yet. Then starting it off with Chef Milo's recipe for the best cream of mushroom soup ever. You can't finish off 2016 better than this. Thank you Steve Rocky's Happy New Year to you all."

Our waiter, Jake, was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was elegant and comfortable, and the food was outstanding! "Fantastic food. Good service. Quaint and cozy decor but can use an update and a fresher cleaner look. Everything was really tasty. The French onion soup was delicious but disappointed there was hardly any cheese on top. Good salad with house dressing. I had eggplant parmigiana which was very good and my husband got the house special — beef tips marsala which was amazing. We even managed to share tiramisu for dessert which was very good. Would highly recommend. We’ll definitely go back when in town."

"Was ok really long wait, good wasn't as good as it usually was. Wasn't awful but wasn't amazing ether. Update waited a month and wanted to give this place another try. "a decent deli in the field farmington hills. on Tuesday to lunch. it was not super busy, but it took a long time to get half a sandwich and t suppassee. the personal was very polite and helpful with the menu. ordered the mushroom bee suppe and it was excellent. also ordered the tuna sandwich and it was very underwhelming. was quite expensive overall, about $12 for cup suppe and half-sandwich. overall not bad. can not really recommend it, but certainly not think that it was bad. "Yesterday was our first time there. Food was excellent. Service poor. We had to ask for napkins, silverware, refills on water and chips. Server never asked how was everything. "Great menu selection, tasted great, and the portions were generous. The taste of the Kimchi was so good. We had a few sushi rolls as well as a plate called Bibimbap, which was not only presented in a hot bowl. It also tasted with delicate beef and roasted egg above. Simply mix and enjoy."

"I've been to China Cafe a few times over the years, and I'm really impressed with the direction it's taken in that time period! My first experience wasn't fantastic, and I ended up venturing out to try various other Chinese restaurants as a result. However, recently I was craving some Chinese food takeout and decided to give it a shot again! In Novi there aren't a ton of options for Chinese food, and I'd say China Cafe tends to fall among the higher ranks in the area. During my last experience, I tried the Chicken Eggrolls, Old School Chicken Fried Rice, and Pan Fried Crispy Noodles (with Beef). The Eggrolls were solid and represent a pretty standard eggroll experience. The fried rice absolutely hit the spot, but the pan fried noodles missed the mark for me the flavor profile just seemed a bit off and I think it's a tough dish to do takeout for. Overall, I'd say the food is a bit above average, but it's not going to blow your socks off. However, I will say doing curbside pickup is great, and the staff makes the process super easy! When I called to order, they got the make and color of my vehicle, and told me approximately what time to arrive to do the curbside pickup. I pulled into the spot, and less than 30 seconds later, someone came out with my food, and pulled up to the passenger side of the vehicle to maintain a safer distance. The server was wearing a mask and I was impressed with how smooth the process went. Overall, China Cafe is doing a great job, even mid pandemic they are definitely worth a try if you're looking for Chinese food in Novi!"

"This place is delicious I ordered the Fatoosh salad, which was a perfect balance of vegetables and a little crispy texture from the small pita crisps which were scattered throughout. I also got the Feast , which was delicious chicken and steak shawarma over a nice bed of yellow rice, with a side of hummus. The meat was perfectly cooked with great taste and texture and the rice had a nice Mediterranean spicy flavor to it. Top it off with some pita bread, delicious garlic sauce, as well as a little pickled vegetable side dish and it was an awesome meal and a place that I always return to in Michigan whenever I want some good Mediterranean food!"
