"Beach House Restaurant at Lovers Point, Monterey A Culinary Delight! I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Beach House Restaurant at Lovers Point in Monterey, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We sampled dishes from both their main menu and their Local menu, and each dish was a masterpiece. For starters, we enjoyed the Pacific Clam Chowder, which set the tone for a fantastic meal with its rich, savory flavors. For the main courses, we opted for the lamb chop from the main menu and the ahi tuna from the Local menu. The lamb chop, cooked medium well, was incredibly tender and flavorful. In retrospect, we might have ordered it medium to experience its sweet gamy flavor fully, but it was still delicious and satisfying. The ahi tuna was a highlight, perfectly seared on the outside while maintaining a fresh, reddish center. The balance of textures and flavors was impeccable, making it a must try for seafood lovers. The service at Beach House Restaurant was equally impressive. The staff Jillian, were attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was enjoyable. The portions were generous and left us feeling pleasantly full. Overall, Beach House Restaurant at Lovers Point deserves a solid 5 star rating for both its food and service. It's a gem in Monterey, and I can't wait to return for another delightful meal!"

"Wow, wow, wow. What an amazing place for date night! The service was fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious. We couldn't ask for a better first experience and it happened to be on a major holiday- Christmas Eve! Everything on the main menu is tapas style, which is perfect for dates or small groups that want to share and taste all of the amazing food on the menu. The oyster shooters were amazing!! They were far from traditional, with ponzu and roe with a quail egg. We enjoyed a variety of seafood appetizers and each one was very different from the next. Oyster selection was great. I really liked the taste of the beau soliel. The sashimi came with a lemon curd and evoo save that was so unique. I can truly say I've never had seafood prepared in such a variety of ways on one menu, especially executed so well. The chefs are exquisite and know what they're doing. Entree wise, we ordered two specialty plates. A duck breast and filet. Both cooked to perfection. I didn't even need to ask for the filet to be cooked med rare because that's the way the chef cooks them- my kinda place! The wine selection was perfect. Not too lengthy but they had something for everyone. The beer list could use some work. They had a local ipa on tap but there wasn't much variety or anything exciting to try. I opted for wine because of this and didn't regret it. All in all, our server Monica who was also answering the phones made our experience very rememberable. She's closely connected to one of the chefs and you can tell her heart and soul is invested in the success of the restaurant and the happiness of her patrons. We're so grateful she answered our call and was able to serve us on Christmas Eve."
