"Being an Indian, was little reluctant to try out any Indian restaurant here. But as a friend was visiting, so tried out this place with him. Ordered a platter of Pakoras, Daal Soup, Tomato soup, Mango Lassi and Samosa Chaat. And to my surprise, it was all delicious. I personally loved the samosa chat. It really reminded me a street food from India. Here they did not serve it with curd/yogurt though. But it was still delicious. Daal soup with the tadka was good too. Pakoras were good in quality and quantity wise as well. It was not oily at all. Ambience is nice. As we made an impromptu plan, we did not get to enjoy the garden sitting. But sitting inside was not bad either. Value for money as well. We ended up paying 40 euros in total. As portion of all dishes were big enough. It was all worth it and at least two of us left the place with our tummy full. Do give it a try."

"Had last visited and eaten at the Brauhaus in 2006 so this was a trip down memory lane. Their is a saying that you should never go back, but this definitely not the case here. The food was even better than I remembered. I had the wild boar in a rich gravy with red cabbage flavoured with a pear and red currant sauce and a potato side. It was to die for. I accompanied this with a large Warsteiner beer which was crisp and refreshing. I then had the doughnuts with pears and cream for dessert and they were equally superb. The Brauhaus is my favourite bar in Paderborn. It is perfect for a couple or for a large group night out. I would recommend booking ahead in the Spring/Summer. You will not be disappointed."

"The food was very good, pizza times something different than you know. The dessert (Tiramisu) was the hammer. What was really very unpleasant was the noise level. Holding was impossible. Probably it is in the room if the walls were perhaps decorated here, for example with one or other wall carpet or with pebbles, or a few partitions in it, it could be better. I'm really not sensitive, but the volume was real like on a station. I don't want to go back there. Too bad."

"The food was prepared and ready within 10 minutes. Dish sizes were appropriate for a full meal and had a nice presentation. At dean&david you order your food at the bar, receive a buzzer and take a seat at your table. The buzzer alerts you, as soon as your food is ready. You are now free ro pick up your food from the bar. Dish prices of the dean&david franchise seem higher than comparable venues. The atmosphere is modern, with wood and plant features, indirect ambient lighting. The small restaurant seems larger because of the glass front towards the street. The music was loud enough to listen to and quiet enough not to not disturb a normal conversation."

"We have ordered several times of Nudelauflaufen and were very satisfied every time. You get large portions of which you get well fed. I only noticed that some ingredients are saved, in the run-up there was hardly any dark meat inside. Our deliveries arrived very quickly within about 20 minutes and were therefore very hot. The suppliers were very friendly every time. We can recommend runs with good conscience. When we first ordered pizzas, we were slightly disappointed. The pizzas had hardly any taste. With my pizza, the dough was partly raw. So we wouldn't order pizzas again."

"After couple of days of eating German cuisine, my friends and I wanted to pick something Mexican. We heard good opinions about El Chingon so one evening we went there. Unfortunately there was no place for us but they have couple of tables outside. We ordered tacos and nachos. For tacos you can pick different amounts of delicious tacos and types e.g. I chose 5 tacos with different fillings. You can pick vege tacos, with seafood, chicken, beef, pork, etc. They are small but so good. Portion of nachos was ordered for one person but could be for groups of 3 as well so big. We ended our stay with two rounds of tequilla. It's served as it should be, so with limon and salt. The only disadvantage of this place are the seats outside. Constantly someone is passing you because of sidewalk or the noisy bus is passing near your back. No problem to pay with cards. No problem to split the receipt. To sum up, worth to visit, worth to eat, worth to drink !"

"This is a lovely looking restaurant with a huge menu (perhaps too much choice We ordered starters for both myself and my husband and they took well over half an hour to arrive. We thought this a little too long to wait. However, it was...tasty (we both had garlic prawns and salad). The main then arrived straight after the starter was cleared. This was just okay I'm afraid. Three of us had pizza and one child's spaghetti bolognese. The spaghetti was served with way too much pepper on it (especially considering it was for a child). The pizza didn't blow any of us away..... There wasn't a great choice for dessert, just ice cream or tiramisu. We had both and to be fair the tiramisu was nice. All in all, service was good but meal was just okay. The waitress that served us was very friendly. Unfortunately, we wouldn't return though, sorry."

"We had pre-ordered a table in time for two people...after we had pointed out at the entrance, we were told that we were not in the book and we had to wait for a free table. Next to us there was a group of 4 people who had also reserved and had no table. After some time we were assigned a very uncomfortable table. We hardly sat there was another table presented to us because the previous one was reserved... which I couldn't understand. The vote between the boss and the housekeeper was catastrophic... everyone wanted to put his head through. After we took the other place, the boss has the order incl. Drinks picked up and ran again towards the kitchen. After about 30 minutes waiting time we had neither drinks nor the appetizer ordered. I went to the bar for 15 minutes and asked for the wine and the water. The young girl was confused and asked me what wine I had ordered. Apparently there was no communication between the boss and the employees. All seemed completely overwhelmed. The water was then simply placed on the table... no further operation took place. We left the water in the bottle first, because I had the fear that the food and wine would no longer come. It got worse! After asking for the wine again after a few minutes, the young service told us that the boss had not yet subscribed to our order. It was funny! I have said to my partner that we will leave this impossible place immediately and have expressed with a corresponding verbal statement the behavior of the boss and the staff. In the environment next to our table, several people have supported this decision, which they have also had very bad experiences this evening and will no longer enter this Loksl. I've never experienced such an impossible and never wants it again... All together a smooth 6!!!"

"The food in the roadhouse is mostly inspired by american diners of the and Burger, fries and other fingerfood are on the menu. The food quality is average. The ribs I had were extremely greasy and a split between pork belly and ribs....However they weren’t spare ribs and deep fried quickly rather than slow cooked. The fries were ok and so were the mini burgers. Prices can grow quickly if you order this and that to share"
