"This place is lovely and intimate. It has the feel that a restaurant in this sleepy little town should have. The tables are very close together which for me is awesome because I get to look at what everyone else is ordering, but don't go there for a quiet romantic for two dinner or if you need privacy. The evening our party of four was there we had the butternut squash soup, the lobster wedge salad, the fresh greens salad, the lobster roll, the halibut in curry and the ribeye with spinach and mushroom sides. All was amazing and raved over except the ribeye and sides. It was cooked perfectly but incredibly salty. We are all real salt lovers and had been told by friends that they had had a salty experience with the steak and we kind of poopooed that because they eat almost no salt, but the couple that had it on this trip were sucking down water by the end of it. So, we highly recommend everything else except the ribeye unless you ask the kitchen to hold most of the salt which chef run restaurants tend to turn a stink eye at, so maybe just order something else. The only other complaint came from the wine drinkers as the managermaitre d' came to repour wine and poured both glasses but because there was maybe two ounces left in the bottle just proceeded to top of one of the drinkers and leave with the bottle. Being a restaurant worker myself, I am sure he did it to clear the table, but it goes against wine etiquette to top off like that when not asked to. Anyway, overall an excellent experience with a couple of minor tweaks needed. Would have no qualms about returning"
