"Wolfgang Pade has learned under Witzigmann and Ducasse, his restaurant in Verden an der Aller has always been an address for good food for 20 years, it has 1 Michelin star, but the top cook has returned and not lost because he no longer wanted to meet the requirements of the star. I became remarkable on him and thus also on the restaurant through the TV series “Herdvisits” on Radio Bremen, where he often comes on Saturday in the show “offside” alternately with another top cook. There, unconventional residents in and around Bremen are visited with a camera team and Wolfgang Pade will cook with what is currently in the kitchen. Reason enough to go to the tongue and eat in Pades Restaurant and Bistro, as well as there are two 5 star reviews in Golocal. To the restaurant itself, a beautiful old well-maintained house, it is located directly on the beautiful Cathedral of Verden, in front of the house and nearby there are free parking. After I had bad luck yesterday, I had ordered a table this morning to taste the delicious spaghetti with mussels from the menu. Funny today also an interview in the Sunday edition of the Weser Kurier with the cook of Verden, where he recommends spaghetti with mussels as the main dish. If it weren't fast, I would certainly have chosen the entrecote steak as the main dish, but only a small part of mixed salads, then a small portion of cream soup made from Beluga lenses and a small part of spaghetti with mussels and Venus. This then makes 21 € for a three-course menu. In salads, soups and pasta you can choose between small and large portions that are rarely offered in locals, except in pizzerias. I was kindly received by the service, my wardrobe was taken away from me and I could choose a place, there is no big difference today between bistro and restaurant, I then found right in the restaurant, where now beautiful beech tables are without tablecloth and dark comfortable leather chairs. First came my 0.5 l EVIAN mineral water and a cup of Illy coffee. Then there were baguettes with butter, fresh cheese/square and herbal salt. The small mixed salad was very tasty and did not float in the dressage. Then followed the Beluga lens soup, small black lenses, therefore the name. Also the soup was delicious, and certainly not out of the bag. The optical and tasteful crowning then with the spaghetti with the bowls, slightly sharp by chili, and as a small part also sufficient if you had previously salad and soup and baguette, but as a main dish without appetizers you must choose the larger part. A good restaurant also includes sanitary facilities. In the 1st OG you will find clean toilets, with cold and hot water, terry and paper towels. The service worked very attentively as a team and really cared for the guests, gave me from the 0.5 l bottle of mineral water, asked for more wishes, and even if the band had tasted. Overall, this restaurant makes a very good impression, but in the distance I would rather visit it for special occasions, and then of course with my heartmate. I would like to give the friend of @tikae a port wine there in white and red, both varieties are dry at the price of 4 €. Now I will visit my friend Pades Restaurant!
