"It's a generational landmark. The food is good, the people are nice, this is basically what a hamburger should be. People don't really understand, hamburgers are American street food. And this is what it's supposed to be like. It isn't supposed to be a steak, it isn't supposed to be 2 lbs. It's supposed to be this. I was coming here in high school, I go there now, mostly with my mom. She loves it. It's part of the people, part of the folk stories. You'd be surprised how many little family stories people have that involve on their way to the Big Dipper, or something taking place there. And it's one of the big three places, The old starlight drive places: The Big Dipper, moonlight BBQ, starlight Drive-In (where Kroger's is, it used to be the local Drive-In). Point is the food is really good, and the restaurant is part of the community, part of the people."
