"It's a generational landmark. The food is good, the people are nice, this is basically what a hamburger should be. People don't really understand, hamburgers are American street food. And this is what it's supposed to be like. It isn't supposed to be a steak, it isn't supposed to be 2 lbs. It's supposed to be this. I was coming here in high school, I go there now, mostly with my mom. She loves it. It's part of the people, part of the folk stories. I had not been to The Dipper in quite some time. I needed a drink and a snack so I picked up a sweet tea and some gems. It tasted like the gems were not seasoned (maybe normal? ; At home they got a little ketchup and all was well. Tea was great. I got some chocolate milkshakes for the teens and they enjoyed those.
