"Unfortunately below expectations. Most of the staff are committed (although not all); especially the Long-time residents. Bread for the starter was already very dried out. Starter (tuna/avocado tartare) very tasty. Also tried: ceviche pulpo/fennel salad, both very good. Main course good, cordon bleu unfortunately only just lukewarm, spinach very cold. After asking twice, my colleague only received the pasta side dish with the last bite of the meat. The espresso was offered as an apology, but unfortunately there was no real apologetic word. Too many mistakes for the high prices."

"We had been expecting a very nice evening with friends and good food at the Waag but this time our evening was truly excellent! The sliced veal Zurich style was better than ever somehow the sauce was even more refined. Could this be thanks...to the new Chef de Cuisine? Also, the wine was an excellent choice. The Mousse au Chocolat was presented as an Easter Bunny and delicious. One guest with an egg allergy was very well taken care of, too. Congratulations to the new Restaurant Manager and his staff of friendly and efficient waiters!!!"

"One of the best experiences I've ever had in Zürich. The Züri Gschnetzlets was sublime and very closely followed by the Rösti. I think the best version of this classic dish that I've ever had (and I grew up in Zürich)! The service was also impecable and prices are more than ok considering that Zürich is one of the most expensive cities in the world. They even treated my toddler to a complimentary piece of chocolate cake. I really can't praise/recommend this restaurant enough!"

"Das Weihnachtsmenü von Stefan Heilenmann war einfach unschlagbar! Meine Frau und ich haben schon bei vielen Spitzenköchen in der Schweiz und im Ausland gegessen; Herr Heilenmann kann es getrost mit ihnen aufnehmen. Das Carpaccio vom Wasserbüffel, die gebratenen Schweineohren an pikantem Salat, die Canneloni mit Jakobsmuscheln gefüllt, das Perlhuhn es war einfach alles vom Feinsten. Wir hatten auf die Speisekarte verzichtet, um uns überraschen zu lassen (lediglich die Schweineohren waren gesetzt), darum baten wir den Sommelier um eine Weinbegleitung. Auch diese Aufgaben wurde mit Bravour (und zu einem durchaus angemessenen Preis) gelöst. Das Personal war äusserst liebenswürdig und aufmerksam (das gilt auch für das Hotelpersonal). Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"Highly recommended restaurant!!! First of all, there is an air conditioner, which is great because most of them don't have one. In general, a really great atmosphere. Entering from where the white elephant is the host. The service is at a very high level. The food is excellent and also a beautiful plate. The fondue, which is the flagship dish, is really delicious. The risotto and the tartar were also really tasty! There are other dishes like meat fondue or meat that is brought to the table on a skewer and literally lights a fire at the table and it's a show. (It is possible to sit right in this trailer in the middle, but it's a bit crowded) Not cheap here at all... and still, if there is a special event, I really recommend it!!"

"Once again the charbonnade has been really good. The meat is served until you can't anymore together with the house fries alumettes and the sauces. The meat quality is good until the end. Price is ok for Zurich, wine card is ok. The service is...very friendly as the whole atmosphere. I recommend the place for charbonnade. The only remark is the unavoidable smell that stays on the clothes."

"Good quality asian food at its best in Zurich. For the 26 CHF dinner buffet, you can indulge in savoury curries, spicy grilled chicken and their signature mouth watering momos (aka Tibetan dumplings with both meat and vegetarian options). It is not too oily or...salty and all our guests whom we have brought here have enjoyed it immensely. They are open for weekend dinners which is a plus and reservations are recommended since it can get quite packed sometimes. We are regulars now and always look forward to our next visit!"

"We were queuing outside at Metropol at around 4:40 p.m. on May 7th, 2023, as shown on the poster. We waited in vain for an employee to lead us to our seat. But several times a blonde lady who works there walked past us in an unfriendly manner, didn 't even greet us and made us wait for 10 minutes, then came past us again with a very arrogant look and changed the poster in front of us to we 're closing now !! I think if you work in a restaurant or with customers in general you should at least be friendly enough to greet your guests and politely tell us that unfortunately there are no more seats available and unfortunately they won 't let anyone in... (even though it 's open until 6 p.m. Training certainly wouldn 't be bad for the staff!! were there for the last time!"

"Take Out bestellt, dieselben Menus wie immer. Schon öfters ist die sehr variable Qualität aufgefallen mal ist es sehr lecker, mal scheinen andere Köche am werk zu sein. Diesmal war es sehr schlecht. das Laab glich einer wässrigen Suppe und essentielle Ingredienzen fehlten. das curry hatte kein Gemüse drin. als wir anriefen meldete sich zuerst eine Dame, dann der Koch, der lediglich meinte: das stimme nicht, er habe es selbst zubereitet. Keine Einsicht gar nix. Das ist sehr schade, zumal wir langjährige treue Kunden sind, die öfters schon mal über qualitative Unterschiede hinweg geschaut haben"

"First of all this restaurant is in the heart of Zurich, 2 minutes walk from the central station. For being pakistani myself, this is the best food I have ever tasted. Its variety of food, menu changes every day so you get to eat all kind of different food. From delicious vegetables and dhaal to meat and chicken curries. The price is very affordable too!! I was there for few days and must say this is the best place I have ever eaten. The place is very nice and clean, the owner is very nice and friendly, not to mention very helpful as well."

"Ist man auf der Suche nach einem richtigen Stück Fleisch, ist man hier bei der richtigen Adresse. Man kriegt Dry Aged- oder auch Luma-Beef, beides in vorzüglicher Qualität. Dazu gibt es natürlich auch noch Beilagen, aber die sind eher sekundär. Das Lokal ist spannend und wunderschön eingerichtet. Insbesondere das Lichtsystem hat es mir angetan. Die Preise sind eher hoch. Die Bedienung ist gut und sehr zuvorkommend. Ich würde hier ganz sicher wieder hingehen. Allerdings ist es eher was für das grosse Portemonnaie."

"Ich und mein Freund können dieses Restaurant von ganzem Herzen empfehlen. Wir gehen sehr oft und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Im Sommer kann man auch im bezaubernden Garten essen drinnen ist das Ambiente aber auch toll. Service ist immer top sehr freundlich und aufgestellt. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, immer und alles ! Das Naan Brot ist der absolute Wahnsinn! Achtung aber ich kann ihnen garantieren das es nicht nur bei einem Besuch bleibt!"
