"The decor is cozy Germany from the 70s, but as we were looking for something cozy in this direction, it sat the mood perfectly. The Swabian slaughter plate (Swarbian slaughter plate) with homemade (and it's really homemade) black pudding, liver sausage, sour wort and egg noodles (spetles) was super delicious. It also comes with boiled pig belly that is not homemade, but still delicious. The calf livers and the leg of the duck were also beautiful and for all hungry guys out there... Portion size was also good. Local beer and friendly service made this a successful evening. If you are looking for Haute cuisine in Bad Wildbad, look for a long time. Large old-style restaurant that fits in the Black Forest. The menu has everything in German Swabian cuisine from Schnitzel to Hungarian Goulash. Everything is very delicious. There is also a very nice salad bar.

We went to Alte Linde for dinner one day and lunch two days later. Both meals were lovely. Steaks delicious! Especially the one on the dinner menu with carrot purée and mushrooms (a lot nicer than it sounds! . The staff don't speak much English and the decor is quite old fashioned but it all adds to the experience. Starters are generally the salad buffet: nothing special but nice to have your own choice.

A very nice restaurant in a hotel in the city centre. The decor is very 70's, but don't let that out as the food was great. Traditional German cuisine and a wide selection of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. There is also a large wine list (I strongly recommend tasting the blueberry wine! For 8€ you can also take a bottle home... Most dishes come with the salad buffet where you can go up and help yourself to a wide selection of salads. It is a popular place and was busy in the evening, but we went that was likely because everywhere else seemed closed on Tuesday! Worth a visit when you are in Bad Wildbad.
