"In the middle of the week we visited the “Alte Forsthaus” in Mühlenbeck. The boss leads the house in 4. Generation for over 20 years. It was originally built in 1763 as a “pension”. The court of the Rector Friedrich II worked, rested and recovered. During our visit we were surprised by the abundance of hunting trophies that decorate the walls of the rooms. There were fox, hare and forest owl, Uhu, Marder and Reiher, Iltis, Kautz and ducks, wild boars, convulsion of Rehwild, Damwild and Rotwild. The heads of wild boars, bears and muffle deer look from their trophies to the guest houses. The fur of the wild tickets and roofs is also hit here on the wall after they were pulled over their ears....

A rustic restaurant in the north of Berlin. We come every year in December to dinner with 12 people. Of course on weekends with reservation. Moderate prices. Kid-friendliness: Children welcome ... The Alte Forsthaus in Muehlenbeck offers a very good German cuisine. A few years ago the restaurant led 2 funny brothers and often made a joke or a loose jump. This is no longer the case, but it is still a GUTER TIPP to turn to the Forstmühlenbeck. The card does not have many dishes, but you taste for it! The prices are normal and it is always well filled. If you want to use the restaurant in a larger round or for a family party, you should book yourself. The forest house is located in Mühlenbeck not far from the ALDI exactly in the curve when you drive towards Schönerlinde. To the beer garden, I can only say that the covered area in the summer is somewhat dusty (at least when we were there)...
