"I admit to my disappointment when I discovered that the Zum Simonbrau restaurant has been under new management since my last visit in September 2017. The restaurant, next to the old Bitburg brewery WAS, is one of my favorite restaurants in Bitburg. It seems to be an upscale steak house with Argentine beef and offered little of what I loved to eat there. In the past, there was always a recommendation from the boss and this is usually what I ordered. My fallback dish is always cingue carving and I was disappointed that it wasn't on the menu either. I expected more than onions from the pack (Gleite I think) and cheese sauce with what I think we are not made at home sparrow. Very disappointing. felt cheated.

Having a beer next to the brewery, enjoying the exhibition that represents the story of the brewery and is served by friendly staff is all we wanted to tour yesterday. Recommend what Bitburg is all about golden extremely tasty Pils:

I ate in this restaurant two years ago after the tour of the Birburg brewery. When I returned to Bitburg in August, this restaurant was at the top of my list to visit again. Everything on the menu is good, I'm sure, but I always go with the chief specialist for the day. The service is excellent. Beer is natural, Bitburger! After dinner you can go to the adjacent room where there is a nice bar area and relax with another Bitburger... or two.
