"I was pleasantly surprised with my visit here! I was not expecting much but the food was great and our waiter was friendly. We started off with the Pork Belly Burnt Ends and it was delicious! The pork was full of flavor and moist. I don't think I've ever had anything like it before. Next I had the Mushroom Swiss Burger and this one was good but just alright. The bun was what was lacking for me; didn't fit the burger and was dry. Lastly, we had the Mac and Cheese with Brisket and it was top notch! Again, super flavorful and the creaminess worked well with the brisket. Enjoyed my time here and this was a memorable part of my trip to Des Moines."

The service was quick, efficient, staff amazing and food exceeded my expectations! First...but to the last time I'd visit this restaurant!

Great food and service was awesome. My friend and I went and I bought my two year old along. Staff was very nice, drinks were great and the server took care of us efficiently.

Burger Shed is NO BS and that's a fact. Hot, fresh, delicious, excellent. Had the No BS Burger, the Mac Attack cheese Burger, kids chicken tenders, kids hamburger. Everything was delicious! Piping hot with every bite. Pepsi products served here. Dairy allergy was mentioned to our server Peggy and she really took care of us. She was understanding and was accommodating. Total was $49.xx before gratuity. Veterans discount was not honored here. The restaurant was beautiful with a brewery feel with woods, dark metals. Beautiful outdoor patio but it was too gloomy to eat outside today. I highly recommend Burger Shed and would come back!

"We were excited to try. We sat at the bar with Bailey as a bartender. A veteran on the whole way sat with him and mentioned that it was his birthday, so I paid his bill without knowing him. I heard he said Bailey, he paid the tip in cash, so when I signed my cc reception (because she asked me to do it right away), I confirmed that he already typed it. She told me he had it. Red flag #1. We ordered a bottle of wine and our dinner. Our salads came out quickly. Then... nothing. We wanted a bread basket. We ate all the bread. Then... nothing. People came, ate, drank, got their bills and left. Bailey wouldn't look at us. We made several bets. When our bottle of wine was gone, we asked Bailey about our food. She said she'd check it out. Something happened. 20 minutes left until she finally got up, she doesn't have to have the order. We're at this place for two hours. She brought us a check. I didn't pay for it. She has a manager who was less than apologetic. It sounded like it was OUR fault that the order was never filed. They composed the 2 salads and wine. And as if we were grateful. Probably will decide for a hot dog and a popcorn at the concession next time."

"Consistent food, flavorful, great service! These used to be the things in before tonight. We went there tonight and ordered about 3-4 dishes. Not a single dish came out well. Pineapple Fried Rice had to be sent back thrice because we had asked for vegetarian (with fried tofu) and every time it had chicken/shrimp. Last time they got it, it was burnt and of course without the fried tofu and cashews. The server said the some kitchen staff is new and tried their best to ensure the order was served correctly. I might just go to their Clive location which is WAY better. They did take off the fried rice off the bill and gave a $5 discount."

"For the first time, had an excellent experience. Food was perfectly cooked, our waiter, Ted, was on everything and an absolutely amazing work. A great experience and an amazing restaurant, although the food is expensive, but it is very worth it. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Ribs with the 6 Cheese Mac Cheese and French Fries. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the ribs were beautiful and delicate and fell directly from the bone. The Mac was creamy and had the perfect mix of cheese. The fries were thick and crispy and also great. Service was excellent, Ted was an absolute animal that sustains our drinks and offers us more bread and the dessert offers us everything while we were very positive and crisp jokes. One of the best waiters I've ever seen. The whole experience was amazing and I felt very satisfied with the waiting and the price for the final result. 5/5, come back here."
