"the first time here. come with more visits! I don't even know where to start. I had the bark in noodles, kartoffels with brown dig and maize. the look, taste and portioning were great! my man had the western bbq sandwich and pommes. a thing we love is when places use fresh bark meat, not frozen patties. he said the burger was tasteful and not dry. the speck was beautiful and thick. we also had the baked mushrooms. now I'm not a big fan of mushrooms, but every time in a great time. but these mushrooms were great! beautiful hand baked whole mushrooms and not soggy. the atmosphere was covered and a mixture of old. our waitress wished I had their names. she was full of energy and had a great personality."

"I absolutely Love this place! I live in Bedford, and my Best Friend/little sister introduced me to The Mutt after Indy Pride 2014. I go there every time Im in Indy visiting her, and have never once had a bad time there. I always feel welcome and safe, and even had Mike come over to our table recently and introduce Himself/ask us how our night and food was. Great, Friendly service and fantastic food."

"Some of our food was fine. But most was not up to speed based on what I would expect with other reviews. A cold shrimp cocktail came out so off of the required temp that we questioned how long it was keot out of the required chilled temperature ? After our many questions they changed their statement ir was just boiled a few minutes ago. I hope so that we all don’t get sick Service was way below standards and we could determine why when they indicated they would put an automatic 20% gratuity. So they didn’t care. What they failed to realize with great service (even if food isn’t up to standard) we tip 30 to 50% at least. But again they didn’t deserve 20% in any version of the process. When we asked to talk to a manager or owner, the statement was no one was available until a young man came up and said he could assist. We started to review the concerns we had seen that evening and instead another female taller employee started to make negative comments and get in the conversation without being asked to become part of the conversation. She was not our server And was never involved with our table She ended up making our decision. That we would never give this location another chance again. All I can say is way too many good places to eat in Indianapolis. Don’t waste your time taking a chance it might be a good night there vs bad. Good food is not a high standard here And maybe the health department should pay a visit.Parking: It was easy. But again restaurant wasn’t Extremely full"
